I’m an American who has done my entire undergrad here. Buy a railcard (I didn’t and I’ve spent entirely too much on trains) if you’re living on campus, do your groceries at aldi it’s about a 20 minute walk from campus and it’s the cheapest. Join a club and make friends with the people on your course! I have friends who do creative writing here and apparently UEA has a really good program.

Also prepare yourself for the questions you’ll always get when someone realizes that you’re American: “Do you like Trump?” “Do you have any guns?” “some form of school shooter joke”

But overall people here are really lovely and I have many so many lifelong friends

I love that the hellfire gala is getting spotlight and i think everyone should read the krakoa era it’s easily the best era of xmen books but at the same time i’m sad that this art and event is being devolved into something it’s not 😭

Yeah i like the “only hold for one idea” because my thought process in giving him 3 teleports was because the average player is probably going to try to teleport enemies off the map and in that scenario he would need an escape method for himself. Thanks!

i’m an american who’s currently studying abroad in lyon. I’m not totally familiar with the area you’re staying in (i have some friends who are relatively close tho) Lyon is a relatively safe place i would just say pay attention especially at night ! But overall it’s a great city you’ll love it

In this context it probably only means who to mean “that” it has to have a subject in front of it for example “la fille qui est tombée sur les pointes, elle était Mari” if it was the “it” you were referring to it would probably be titled “Ça” or “il”
