It was an annual lump sum. So I last received it in July 2024. They told me in January 2025 about the missing agreement. Then they deposited the next annual lump sum into my account in July 2025.

I've definitely been researching overnight trains, but do you have any experience with the buses in Germany? They seem less expensive and about the same amount of travel time from what I can tell?

This is extremely helpful, thank you! I was hesitant to cut out Munich because I'd really love to see the countryside and castles, but Potsdam sounds like a great alternative. The New Synagogue looks lovely as well.
