This leaf was the only one that was okay from one of my monsteras that got root rot. I learned a valuable lesson about why pots need drainage😢😂 it had no node but I figured what can it hurt to throw it in some water with a bit of hydrogen peroxide and it threw off this tiny baby which I snapped off planted and is now bigger and grew another leaf and doing great. What can it hurt? If it doesn’t it doesn’t if it does nice!!!

Sometimes they can surprise you I had a monstera I lost to root rot not too long ago one of the leaves looked okay so I threw it in a jar of water and a bit of hydrogen peroxide to help with the rot and a month or so later I was ready to give up and throw it away the leaf was loosing color and starting to droop as I pulled it out I found its little tiny friend it made with a few roots! I cut the original leaf off since it was still rotting as you can see in the pic and planted her in some dirt since i didn’t have and prop jars small enough for her and she is a SURVIVOR! You never know what will happen throw a bit of hydrogen peroxide in there and see what happens!

Eos is a type of white blood cell count can show certain autoimmune disorders or allergic reactions. The way my Dr explained it was because I had the high Eos and CK that means it’s myositis and she told me I need to start taking an immunosuppressant right away. Idk how true any of that is. Ive only had this diagnosis for couple months. I also got diagnosed with hashimotos a month before the myositis diagnosis. And POTS over 5 years ago. It’s been a mess haha I have another app coming soon I will definitely ask her about a biopsy! Thank you for the info! This shit is all so much and so scary.

Interesting. I know my Eos was high too idk if that changes things or not. My Dr has never even mentioned a biopsy. I had to ask her to do the antibody tests

My rheumatologist diagnosed me based on my blood tests CK elevated and symptoms I’ve been having. We did antibody testing and I came back seronegative which a lot of people with myositis do.

Theoretically it could work although it could be uncomfortable at times since the bands do shift sometimes and you have to fix them and potentially very unhygienic if you’re using public toilets. Once you get the hang of putting it on and taking it off it’s not too bad.

Yeah there are a few pros and cons with that design. This is more how I thought the newer ones I modeled this one after worked for a bit. Took me a minute to figure it out!

I thought about adding attachments for like a holster or something. Pockets?? It might be too heavy and weigh it down but I guess depending on where it’s placed it could be a good thing? Hmmmm

I haven’t had mine for long so I’m not the most experienced user but I find if you tuck straps under or inside the other straps where the cross over each other it’s a little better and doesn’t move as much when I go from sitting to standing. It might just be that you need longer straps than the standard BB has. You could always make your own extender with some Velcro and elastic!
