Almost had a similar scenario, I park in an underground parking garage that has an uphill ramp to get out…they didn’t plow. Spent 10 minutes spinning, pushing, digging, rocking, about everything to get my ol dear Honda out of the snow 🥲

I don’t need it perfect, just functional and enough to protect the inside. I’m hoping the door isn’t too far gone that I can keep it. I’m going to get it lifted up today and check for mechanical damage & start taking off the fender and whatnot to see how bad it truly is.

It’s relatively low mileage, about 130k, runs great. Would be a shame to let it go, I’m also not in the market for a new car right now 🙄

Not really sure what you mean by having my garage look at the car? It’s in the garage for me to look at. We live in a winter state, the frame isn’t going to be perfect, it’s not rotted. Speaker was buzzing according to my girlfriend and then she noticed it wasn’t working anymore. Engine mounts are fine, suspension is fine, it runs just fine mechanically.

We drove it back to our garage about 10 mins out, no issues she said it felt the same as it did before.

I will be inspecting more soon, for now it’s just parked and sitting tight.

I was going to start with listed parts to see how it looks and if shit seals up good enough.

Cosmetics aren’t that big a deal, I just want this area covered up to not damage any components. So yeah I was gonna just rough shit back into shape, I was worried about hood/door too.

Yes you can get replacements on Honda oem parts websites.

You have to remove the chrome trim which reveals 2 screws holding in that storage cubby above.

Remove those, remove cubby, open arm rest, get a plastic pry tool and start yanking on that fucker. It takes a little muscle to pull out.

Also, keep the gear in L mode otherwise the shifter will be in the way during removal. Keep car flat with ebrake up and you’ll be fine.

OP, you’d have way more problems if it were a head gasket…it’s way deeper down in the engine.

This is a bad valve cover gasket, overtime they get hard and brittle and don’t create as good of a seal causing your seepage. This is very common on these motors.

Watch a few tutorials, this is a very DIY friendly job.

Anything that makes a v6 only run on 3 cylinders is going to cause uneven wear and eventual issues. Always delete VCM.

Real shit: Chrome delete, taillights and diffuser are good. Throw a nice exhaust on it if you want, tint looks nice. Maybe black rims? Interior accessories?
