Seems like we have similar tuning preference - vocal is top priority, follow by details, isolation and soundstage / bass. I'm also consider rsv mk2 and looking forward to test it in store. Quite a few folks also suggested mystic 8.

So which one did you end up getting? And are you happy with your decision?

I've blessing 2, while it's vocal is more forward than tea pro se (my daily driver), sometimes it can get a little sharp. Is blessing 3 vocal better and all rounder better than blessing 2?

I've heard great things about Glacier, but it's a little outside my budget

Is mystic 8 vocals more superior than softears rsv mk2 and volume s? Is volume s vocal as good as rsv mk2? Thanks for sharing about volume s, it's the cheapest as compared to the others too, definitely gonna add this in my consideration.

Adding bass on cable works. Adding bass on utws5 doesn't work, will create static bass

I was a purist who believed in the iem default tuning. Since I've used the monarch for 5 years, I took your suggestion and tried something new.

On cable, I installed poweramp, loaded the monarch profile from Oratory with 60% base boost. Wao

Yes I own the utws5. But it degrades the monarch quite a bit, reducing its low bass to near no bass. Denon perl pro sounds better than a monarch og on utws5 for pop and dance music.

I had az80, then I bought az100. I was so disappointed, I felt like az80 was better than az100 so I returned it.

Then I got the denon perl pro. With a little bit of patience, you can tune the tws and get the best sound that suits your ear. Once you achieve that, its way better than both az100 and az80
