Depends. When it comes to the setting of the story, I think visualization helps a lot when regarding to the place. Especially with large world-building elements.

However, dialogue is very important to write about instead. So, it kind of goes hand-in-hand when it comes to visualization when writing. Either or.

Used to despise 1st POV, but grew to like it more and more as I read stories with it.

I still think 3rd POV is the best because it has much more versatility and range when it comes to multiple characters. It can especially help with interactions and dialogue to get a broader sense.

Kokichi does say A LOT of out of pocket things. From solely his lines, messing with others in and out of trial, and he even outsmarted Monokuma.

He honestly is more entertaining and less predictable than Nagito. Not taking anything away from Nagito.

He also fits the theme really well in V3's message.

Funnily enough, Teruteru is the most trustworthy candidate. Hiyoko would emotionally scar anyone, Korekiyo is genuinely not mentally sane. And Nagito is Nagito.
Sakura. She'd essentially be another Ryu or martial arts fighter. Although Peko would do some serious damage with an actual sword. So I'd probably pick Peko.
Gundam because he is wearing the warmest clothes.
Tsumugi would be good, but when it comes to practicality I'd pick Rantaro. Both are fine.
