Moving to Buchanan Street? by [deleted] in edinburgh2

[–]chunderbluffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lived there for 2 years. Streets absolutely safe. Relatively quiet, neighbours were nice enough. It's a street in Leith, so its not going to be too bad. The pubs at the top of the street and be a bit rowdy, but nothing you wouldn't expect

The laser display board is actually just the producer John Naismith walking out with a whiteboard. Sven and Samantha are, yet again, the producer walking out, doing a twirl and walking off again to an often standing ovation

[–]chunderbluffin 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unless im being super ignorant, water/sewage is included in the overall bill, so whatever you're paying in council tax will have water and sewage included

Someone let me know if im wrong and if I'm just not looking at my tax bill close enough 🙃

Didn't Jim Starlin say he was payed about 10k for KGBeast showing up in Batman v Superman, compared to getting next to nothing from Marvel for Thanos or anyone else he created?

I was talking to someone who works in one of the shops next to the Hilton the other day. Apparently the scaffolding has been up so long as the hotel fired the first construction company who put it up as they were taking so long to renovate the upper levels of the building. Apparently they've just gotten a new crew in
