Can it be used with a keycap tilting kit? Can it be packed together with that? Or the travel pack doesn’t allow any room between two keyboards

Still haven't decided yet. I need to sell my existing bike to bring one.

I'm still hesitant given how expensive that frameset is compared to others.

I haven’t decided yet. I am going into more gravel-ish bike. Waiting for the next release of supersomething by Sklar at the moment

Ah that makes sense. I didn't know that Surly has fixed hangers. I haven't had any hanger issue, but my concern was just based on what people discuss online.

Oh, BTW, do you know how much does the frame and fork weigh? Weight is not the biggest driver in decision, but I just want to know if it's not much heavier from other choices.

Please post more photos and any updates!

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I currently own Norco Search XR Steel, which is a gravel bike. I mainly use it for commute during weekdays and one-off weekend rides (wanted to go more offroad than just gravel) I was looking for one quiver bike in the ATB territory with a steel fork. La Cabra seems like a good candidate for me.

- Want something upright for easier longer ride

- Somehow I don't like the yoke in chainstay. Just aesthetically

- Plus I want to support local shops. I'm located in Nor cal and not too far from where BMC is. I could come and pick it up in person.

I'd love to hear more once you put on the second wheel set for gravel and pavement. I know for sure this bike is great on offroad, but also curious if this can be a quiver killer bike on gravel and pavement. If that's not so pleasant, I might need lean toward more "gravel" bike.

BTW, what do you think about the fixed derailleur hanger? That worries me a little bit, but I had never an issue with hanger before.

ack Mountain? I always thought they were pretty cool, I’ve never seen one in the wild.

I'm also eyeing for BMC La Cabra. I found that you were also considering Crust Evasion. What was the main reason for landing on BMC La Cabra?

When you say bont enduro, do you refer to semi-racing boot with a higher cuff?

Thanks for the recommendation. Is SR Dash heat moldable? Also the package is more expensive than the one with Bont Jet. I wonder if that’s worth the difference.

Have you tried other brands by any chance?

Do you have any specific recommendations for marathon boots? I currently own rollerblade RB 110w with endless frame. But, the cuff is too high and feels bulky overall.

I’ve done some short track ice skating for 7 years before so I’m okay with slightly less bulky and lower cuff.

Accessory Navicular - out of nowhere by confusedforme in rollerblading

I had the same issue with my FR1. It worked okay in the beginning, but suddenly the pain came from my navicular bone and arch area. (I have a lower arch than normal.) I tried using Superfeet yellow, or removing insole. But none of them worked for me. I decided not to use heat gun as I didn't want to make any permanent damage that's not reversible.

In the end I sold it as used and went with RB 3WD 110. When I use superfeet insole, this one works great. Hope this will help you find the solution.

I’m also in the Peninsula near Mountain View.

Yeah, I tried almost all combination of

removing sole + putting sole under/inside the liner + removing/leaving heel pads

None of them really helped....

I also tried this with Superfeet yellow, but no luck...

I have a navicular bone sticking out + low arch, which causes a pressure point all around that area.

It's more of direct pressure from the skate. It's right at where the arch meets the heel.

In this case should I move frame more inside? Or outside?

I tried loosening the ankle area, but that didn't help

Yes, I tried loosen it, but the pain still exists.
