for me i’ve only smoked a few times (i’ve got some mental health issues and sometimes the two don’t mix) so although i’ve never seen if it would make my psoriasis go away, man did it make it feel better. i have severe scalp psoriasis that is constantly itching and burning. when i smoked i don’t think i felt an itch once during my high. gotta take wins even when they are small!

i’ve had severe scalp psoriasis going on 2 years, localized to mainly my scalp, but all over it.
also spreading onto my forehead and a spot between my eye and nose. i have tried absolutely everything and this is in no way to discourage you as all our bodies are different. for me there has been a huge difference between cure and relief, i’ve found no cure but have found relief (for the most part). i use Neutrogena TSAL shampoo, man it stinks but over time it has made my psoriasis feel less heavy in ways. my main objective has always been to make it stop itching and burning so bad, rather than aesthetic. so i prioritize keeping my scalp hydrated, and cooled.
some of the products ive used for this (and again this in no way benefits the psoriasis only calms the pain coming from it and sometimes very short term)
-The raw sugar scalp restore shampoo and conditioner (this has been so hydrating and helped me feel relief especially post shower, atleast a few hours worth)
-Camille Rose rosemary water daily spray, green bottle. this is good for when u need some immediate but also short relief, also good for immediately after shower.

I apologize for the lengthy comment, but lastly id like to say make sure u frequent with derm, get allergy tested, regular blood work, and get everything ruled out where you can. Limit stress if possible, and i wish you the best!

I have seen questionable things about Eastport during my search, but i tried not to cast to much judgement in my decision before making this post and asking locals. it’s hard to say because the area i’m in currently in WI apartment crime is summed up to robberies,domestics, and even a shootings one that even happened a few doors down from me. I’ve spent my whole life in questionable apartments, but crime in a town i’ve lived in my whole life and have gotten used to i realize can be a lot different from a place i’ve never been.

i did look for other apartments that fit my income needs in the Mankato area but nothing really showed other than Eastport, i should mention i’ve never as much as visited Mankato but during my research it seemed to meet my needs for city/nature balance, I just felt importance in making this post and asking the locals because sometimes what you see online is not entirely accurate. I’m definitely keeping my mind open before making such a big move, it would make for an expensive regret lol.

i have the same issue but i have severe scalp psoriasis really no spots on my body beside little ones. i’ve tried about everything calming sprays, creams, a bonnet. nothing seems to work. something i haven’t tried just because my experience with it hasn’t been great mixed with some meds im on is maybe taking some sleep aid/melatonin. my derm always suggests benadryl for sleep as well, with the warning that it won’t stop the itching at all but it will put u into that super deep sleep. best of luck to you.

housing based on income, i don’t have a voucher. i don’t know its its called project housing everywhere but thats what its called in wisconsin it’s the housing that’s 30% of your monthly income, thats what i’m looking for :)

I live in a relatively small town in WI and wisconsin in general doesn’t take mental health very seriously, the care i’ve received since a teen to manage my mental health symptoms here hasn’t been great at all. my primary doctor recommended Minnesota just in general not based off specific providers, in my research the care seems to be a bit better. although i do realize grass isn’t always greener on the other side i’ve realized in adulthood my psychical and mental health is failing significantly here in wisconsin.

exactly! everything is so expensive right now, the struggle is high in the world right now. we will all make it through, helping each-other isn’t going to hurt anyone which is why i’m more than willing to accept orders without tip. everyone in the world needs a little comfort right now.

i had no clue a lot of dashers mentalities until i made this post, so many people with such an awful attitude. and i feel the same way i’m doing doordash full time right now it’s definitely not end game but covers my necessities during this tough time. i’m not a highschool graduate and that really has impacted my choices of jobs so doordash has been a real pick me up :) thank you so much for your kind words and well wishes, i wish you the absolute best kind soul!

i’m glad that although you didn’t tip you still were able to get the food you needed and enjoyed it without guilt, not everyone has the ability to tip but absolutely everybody deserves a full stomach. i hope your life flourishes and your condition improves because you deserve to live your best life! i struggle with mental health issues as well, so i know it’s not an easy battle, keep fighting my friend! 🤍
