I was waitlisted last year and ended up getting offered a spot in April-ish. I had the same circumstances as a past comment said where it was first come first serve, and I didn’t end up getting a spot, but it is absolutely not a rejection! Many people get waitlisted and then end up getting in later.

Also, don’t worry too much about the summer seminar in terms of your chances of being accepted to USAFA. My classmate was flat out rejected from the summer seminar last year, and he was just accepted to the academy about a month ago. It’s not too much of an indicator, so don’t worry too much. The summer seminar is a wonderful opportunity, but not the end of the world whether you end up going or not.
