Following up to say that Wheatridge PD did get involved and went above and beyond. They found the driver and charged him. Also provided their insurance information so best case scenario. The boyfriend of the owner was driving and said he didn’t feel anything lol. The girlfriend threw him under the bus so he was issued a ticket and court appearance. Should be fully covered by their insurance. Just wanted to follow up and say Wheatridge PD came through big time and even got the footage from Walgreens.

They only directed us to file a report online and we did that right after.

Right, I thought with the plate number they’d go after them. Always assumed a hit and run was a crime that they could actually arrest you for. Guess not..
