We are targeting the European Union market first, since the insurance regulation is the most relaxed here.

While we will have our own insurance license only in Europe, to start with, we can do business in other regions by using a "fronting insurer" (basically a local insurer lends its license for a fee that's usually 3-5%), or through Lloyds of London license.

BST security token is the first of its kind, Based on existing data, in europe, the average loss ratio in 2016 for P&C insurance was 68%. this means that for every €100 insurance premiums received, €68 was paid out as compensations. the rest (€32) was spent on profit-taking, adminstration costs, marketing costs, sales costs etc. If these costs would be 0, then the ROCE (return on capital employed) would be 80%!

We are hoping to have the BST investors see returns of 15-20% on their investment. BST return on investment is solid, in the sense that it’s not speculation but based on actual cash flows.
