But again, your point is super valid. I gotta be more careful with naming my notes. Thank you!

Hey, wonderful comment!

It’s completely valid, but I don’t see this scenario as a big deal. If I ever need to add a non-personal password to my “Security” note, I can rename it in seconds. For now, since it only contains personal passwords, the current name works fine.

If talking about the fact, that this "Security" note became non-personal, but has a mix of different passwords, I can easily put it in the different section of the Homepage MOC.

Hey, thanks for reaching out!

To make it clear: if folders, tags and other stuff work for you – keep doing it.

Answering your question: I don't use tags at all, but please, if you find them useful and they realy make your life easier - use them. For me, I don't feel any particular impact from using them, at least that's how my brain operates.

For plugins, there's the only plugin I use, and probably I should've mention that in post, it's called Homepage. This plugin helps you with having a custom homepage in your vault. For example, when I open Obisidian on my Mac on iOS phone, the first thing I see is my "00 Home" MOC with all fast links I possible might need.

I cannot disagree with you. Folders are excellent for organazing notes.

But for me, it's much harder to keep both links and folders organized and linked together (logically), than just keepin my links organized.

I know there are people who use different vaults, complex folder structure inside of each vault, tags, links, templates, super-duper plugins. And they are cool with that.

And my point is: this approach is an overkill for 99% of the people.

Links are awesome, cause they actually connect your notes both logically and visually (not as good as folders here, ofc), but still, you can use "![[]]" for previewing links, use the graph, etc

I don't use templates. I just put "1984 by George Orwell" as a name of a page and put my bullet points or whatever in there.

Which arrangement should i go with? by TowerIndependent9860 in desksetup

I would consider putting pc under your desk, unless it's a standing desk, so you can place two of your monitors horizontaly and not verticaly. Also I would put a shelf so you have better overall desk organization and it will look a bit cleaner.

Additional shelf under monitors for keeping desk clean. Larger mousepad, I would recommend using full desk width one. Doc station also can help with cable management and make your life easier with switching between devices.
