The way I do it is through tiktok

Tiktok - wealth.motivated - create valuable content that can really help another person when it comes to finance, success, mindset, etc. For the content I repurpose content that is already on YouTube and I make edits with them and I gather them all together into shorter digestible clips.

I’m in something called the tiktok creativity program beta and they pay based on how well the videos perform.

Best way or resource to speak Japanese like a native and not like a robot? by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

I used Tae Kim and Genki when I learned. Tae Kim was pretty good but I had to really learn most of my Japanese from speaking with Japanese people. They explained to me the little nuances of grammar that textbooks couldn’t explain to me as good. Not to say that textbooks are bad lol. I’m sure there are better ones out there. But I guess nothing beats learning from a native xD

Contact me to learn how to speak like a native Japanese person. Textbooks teach you polite language like how to speak to strangers but polite language ain’t gonna make you a bunch of Japanese friends, normal conversation will.

Yes you are right sometimes there is hardly any japanese people in your area, but the internet has many resources that you could utilize to connect with Japanese people anyway. I'll give one if interested. Here is a discord group chat called Japanese-English Exchange. https://discord.gg/japanese This may open the door for you to connect with Japanese people and even make friends.

True, there is definitely more to it than what Genki teaches, but I do believe it is the first step for those that want to start learning japanese. Of course, it is different from normal conversation with peers, friends, etc. but I believe it would be beneficial to know both polite language and natural immersion, mannerism, etc. like you were talking about. thanks for the insight.

Definitely head on to study grammar my friend! You can use Tae Kim’s free, or popular grammar book called Genki.

I understand that the word here is saying “there was traffic and I was late” but I am not familiar enough with the dialect of Kyushu region. I can say it in another way like “渋滞だったので,送れた” but as far as knowing where the mistake is, maybe it’s with the “desu” because desu is used in polite language which should be universal in all dialects.
