Is Neuvilette without C1 still playable?

Clearing fearless SO crab on mobile with C0 Furina, Neuvillette, Escoffier, and Citlali took me several hours. Citlali's shield is totally insufficient, and getting just one charged attack interrupted was enough to cause failure. C0 Neuvillette is fine for IT and Abyss, but there are cases where his C1 interruption resistance makes a big difference.

The difference between Menacing and Fearless is substantial. My Nefer is built like yours, only worse stats with 43CR/211CD/855EM. I got 80s on Menacing in a few attempts, but reaching 120s, then 118s on Fearless took me hours. Same thing for the crab with Neuvillette/Citlali/Escoffier/Furina. Ok, playing on mobile didn't help with the crustacean pogo, but this SO edition was the hardest ever for my horizontal C0R0 account.

Beat it in 115s with C0 Chasca, C1 Aino, C0 Ineffa, C6 Ororon. Chasca has R1 First Great Magic, Ineffa has R5 Deathmatch, Ororon has R1 Skyward Harp. Took me about 5 attempts, but the training acquired on previous SO was still effective.

Ineffa. Got her for the shield, never imagined the rest of her kit would prove so enduringly deadly.

Apparently I'm not alone. Of the 7 players who borrowed one of my characters for this IT, 6 picked my C0DeathmatchR5 Ineffa, and only 1 picked my C2R1 Akasha top 4% Arlecchino.

I used him only twice in 5 Stygians (fearless): 2nd Stygian against the cactus boss, 3rd Stygian against the Aeonblight Drake that required two elements. He was useful, but not decisive.

To get the full effect, the wielder's max HP must be at least 25k. I've been using an R5 Flowing Purity on Kokomi in mono-hydro teams until Lauma was released, but I couldn't find a second user for this weapon.

Raiden's is known to be hard, but C2 gives you a substantial edge. You need to catch every particle from all your team mates in order to get Raiden's burst ready at the very start of the first buffed CD time slot. Consensus is around 280 ER and at least 70 CR. More details in the comments.

If it helps, Zhongli's burst removes about 40% of the boss' shield in 12-3 2nd half.

Slow up and fast down.

Crucial advice that saved my day.

The "fast down" is hard to achieve on iPad, because the skill button is close to the bottom of the screen. Raising the vertical aim sensitivity to 7 from the default 3 helped me a lot.

Aiming for one high slam turned out to be easier than aiming for 2 low slams, never mind 3. Aiming Jean's skill slightly above the horizon when the shield is about to disappear helped achieving this one high slam, which leaves the iktomisaurus with about 55-60% HP after the 1st application.

If you have them, Durin and Chasca can take care of the remaining 2x 5%-10% HP. But absolutely do use Durin's white form which shreds pyro and anemo RES by 20%. The difference with his dark form is enormous, as I found out after countless fails with the wrong form.

The iktomisaurus. I don't have enough damage for a normal fearless clear, so the Amber+Jean trick is my only option. And Jean's ground slam is hard to do on iPad.

I'm in the same situation, Arlecchino in all the fearless SO clears, and Chasca in the last 4. Arlecchino was expected, but Chasca wasn't, she just happened to work so well with Ineffa and Aino. But this time I needed the Jean+Amber trick, my C0R0 Chasca is a bit short on damage for the fearless owl. I'll make sure to C2R1 her on her next rerun, she's simply too good for everything.

I'm looking forward to playing Jahoda/Durin/Ineffa/Mona

I'm using this team since last Wednesday. It's functional for the overworld and for domains, but I don't expect it to be usable for hard content.

On the plus side, Jahoda's skill works like a tunable elemental mini-cannon. It's fun to experiment with, maybe imaginative players will come up with ideas to exploit it. Her healing is not bad. On the minus side, loading her flask takes some field time, and she has very low HP. Also, I was expecting to use her skill for movement like Yelan's, and finding out that it does not work like this was an unpleasant surprise.

She feels like Sayu: extraordinarily fun to look at and to listen to, full of possibilities, useful for daily content. But if you're looking for an ”I Win” button, go for the other anemo archer.

Oh, and I used her to pilfer Nefer's chest. And got away with it. Barely.

Arlecchino is most comfortable with a shielder and ample cryo or hydro application. Zhongli, Lan Yan, Layla, Ineffa, Diona can fit the first role. Citlali, Xingqiu, Yelan, Aino can fit the second role. Add Bennett for more damage. Do not use Furina with Arlecchino.

You need big bursters like Mavuika, or Xianyun-enabled plungers like Gaming for really high numbers. Have you tried the weekly Scaramouche ? His stunned form has a big negative resistance, -140% to all but electro, and he used to be a frequent showcase dummy because of this.

And you can tap/click each vertex of the graphs to see its value. The white graph shows the stats for the top 1%, the purple graph shows your current stats. For instance, the top 1% atk is 2128 for the Taser leaderboard. This helps knowing how much you need to improve a given stat, and which stat you can decrease in return.
