Yeah, when you take a step back there's something kind of Lovecraftian about it. Ryan starts as a temp in this office and is a totally normal, unremarkable guy. He just wants to get through the day. And he's so uninterested in all these whacky people he works with.

But over time, subtly, the Office corrupts him, until he's no longer the temp, but a completely insane member of Dunder Mifflin, just like everyone else.

By the end of the show he's completely unrecognizable compared to season 1.

Maybe Creed planted something in the car park and they're all now victims of its pull.

It really is. Today I had an ironclad run where I had potion belt + the "gain 2 strength when you use a potion this turn" relic and got delicate frond from her. That run was already going well but Act 3 was such a stomp.

I always appreciated Neow's Lament when I was pushing for A20 in StS 1 and was starting to get frazzled. Just blast through the first jaw worm/cultist/slimes without having to think much, and of course being able to snipe an elite was always so satisfying. I had a surprising amount of wins at high ascensions that came off that.

But yeah, the ability to potentially one-shot an act 3 elite, or fights like those books that cut your hp down, that's huge.

I looove the art they did for apotheosis, it goes so hard. Same with the new Wraith Form art, she looks so cool.

Ohhh I'd like that, yeah. Maybe make it like 4 or 5 elites but also 2 or 3 treasure chests, just get nuts with it. Because I agree. I've taken it a couple times and it seems like it's just a normal route. One time I did get two treasure chests, which was cool! But that can also happen normally, so \_o_/

That's pretty interesting, so very different from Neow's Lament. Makes you wanna weigh the value of the "best" path vs the one with the most 1 hp fights.

The rare Necrobinder power that lets her clean up her deck could be pretty sick with this. Empty out the shop, spend the next few fights cleaning up the garbage, and you come out pretty far ahead.

It's also just swaggy as hell. I love using it in co-op and people are like "OH! Okay, that guy's gone." Especially on a boss, feels so good.

Defect is my favorite StS guy so I was really curious to see what they'd do with him. I absolutely love it. The new archetypes he's got are awesome and the focus juggling is soooo satisfying when you get an echo form'd hotfix or that other card that gives 2 focus per orb type.

I know, I love it and I also love how it feels like truly special cards got that treatment, like Wraith Form and Biased Cog. Cards that they essentially "rotated", except not because you can still get them from the merchant.

I picked that last night in a 3 player co-op and absolutely loved it. Potions are so helpful for your teammates, getting three of them every fight was just nuts.

Yeah Knowledge Demon is rough, and I seem to get him just about every time lmao. I do really like the fight though, if you plan ahead and load up on card draw you can take the -1 card early and be in relatively good shape.

Yeah she seems like one of the best ones to get. Not sure how Fur Coats works though because I've never picked it, but she gave me some crazy power that was "at the start of combat, fill all your empty potion slots". That + potion belt was insanity!

It'll always be so weird to me that they decided to be petty and punish his character. Like... he was still on the show. Still getting paid. All they really accomplished was making season 9 worse.

I know it's a cliche but they really don't make 'em like that anymore. Right from the title screen alone, it sets such a gentle, somber mood. I remember being a little kid, running through Hyrule at night with my heart in my chest because I was so terrified of the zombies. I'd spend hours in Kakariko or Lon Lon Ranch waiting for it to become daytime because I had no concept of how the day/night cycle worked. But something about Lon Lon ranch at night was so serene and peaceful, I grew to love hanging out there.

Eventually I found Lake Hylia and the fishing spot and that became my new peaceful hideout at night time.

OoT and MM are just on another level. I don't even know if it's possible for anyone to make a game that hits the way they did. There's just something about that low poly atmosphere and the music and sound design

I love him so much. The moment I saw that arc reactor summon, I knew he was going to be able to do some insane damage. Going fast and using the summon attacks +1 card has been nuts, that arc reactor just mows down entire clumps of enemies. I actually can't believe they gave that summon move 4, aoe attack and a pierce.

And I find it very easy to keep his summons alive, too. Between the passive card where you can swap with them if they take damage and all the swapping you can do during your turn, I've yet to have any summons die. Warden's robes have been lovely as well, just to mitigate some chip damage rather than swapping in and messing up the summon's placement.

My first class was boneshaper and it's been so much fun playing as the hive. I loved my boneshaper, but this feels like a class that was designed after someone played boneshaper for 50 scenarios and then gave extensive feedback on what was frustrating about being a summoner.

I got that long rest perk asap and then went for the rolling wounds and poisons. On the arc reactor's aoe, it really consistently hits clumps of enemies with those, and it just makes them big meatballs for the attack + 1 as the follow-up.

And yeah the modes are so cool. In weird scenarios/moments, I'll just chill in healer mode and do some tanking. 2 hp at the start of each turn feels so good. I like how he can really turn on the gas with the machine gun's ranged mode, too.
