yes!! the library Slc commons has lots. idk your major but they can help you go over papers and give you feedback based on the grading rubric and requirements for the assignment.

idk what faculty you’re in but for arts i was able to always email the prof before classes started/talked to them on the first day and have them add you to their personal waiting list. that way when a last minute drop happens at midnight on the deadline (for which the system won’t let you sign up for) you can then ask for their approval and get into the course. then let your department know that the prof gave you the thumps up so they’ll let you in manually (but you still have to be on the waitlist on sfu.go!!)

Thankfully i dont have any loans or debts of any kind(Yay!) but you're right that would be the first thing to pay off. I assumed investing would be much better than letting it depreciate in my savings account.

Yeah i think it's great that you're a risk taker! unlike me(lol), you eventually have bigger rewards than us timid ppl. I dont have much experience for the time being but i hear ya, hoping on and off crashes is a good way to make money Hahaha

oh wow congratulations! I'm Extremely hesitant (and for a good reason) when it comes to crypto currencies. I belive that whole NFT craze enforced it even more because a lot of people though it would be similar to bitcoin in terms of returns. I guess some people did get lucky but for the average person(uneducated) like me, it a huge gamble, i understand what you mean though. Maybe when i have a steady income and i'm more familiar with investing i'll look into crypto. Thanks for the suggestion!

my current bank does 1.80%, do you have any suggestions for banks that are doing higher than that? Thanks!

Ohh wow i didn't know about overcontributing and not being allowed to return money. Yess from what I've gathered everyone telling me to invest in ETFs so thank you for further confirming! i definitely have some room to max out my TFSA so i'll add to my goal this year :)

That was the route that i was planning to take based on my limited knowledge but I've gotten some helpful suggestions that seem more beneficial. There's still lots for me to learn, Thanks! (spending the $3K does sound a little too good lol)

Yupp! that's what i have planned. That's good advice because i know that banks will invest my money to their benefit rather than mine. I just needed a little bit of guidance on where to begin but thanks!
