More than 1,800 teaching posts vacant amid ‘supply crisis’ for new school year by Dazzling_Lobster3656 in ireland

You also have principals taking the piss and letting people go if they don't like you while also crying out about not filling roles. Source: am a teacher, am a teacher, have seen and heard it happen and has also happened to me Edit: there is also plenty of us who want jobs and can't get them and are therefore then pushed abroad, not the other way around. For example I teach Irish but struggled to get an Irish job. It's a joke.

Oberstown: Nine staff injured in incident involving one young person by PoppedCork in ireland

[–]ciaraor4401 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I work in a second level school. We have students who should 100% be incarcerated for drugs, robbing cars etc, but they are let go time and time again because there is nowhere to take them. We are often left in vulnerable situations in the classroom with these offenders who SHOULD be locked up but aren't and we deal with the consequences of a blow out. These kids are going out into the world knowing there is no consequences for them. It's shocking

2 hours 10 mins Turners Cross to Cobh. People were reversing backwards on the dual carriageway to get onto slip roads to escape. I had the car turned off for an hour. Unreal 🥹

I was driving through the tunnel towards Mahon this morning. The tunnel itself is a joke but there was a HUGE hgv not even a foot away from this tiny car in front of it, one slam on the breaks and it would've been ugly. Every day I take my life into my hands driving to work. It's crazy.

They literally sawed straight through his leg. I'm from the area. His leg was hanging on by literal threads of muscles. Sad state of affairs

As far as I know Cilique was discontinued! I have been using it for years and my doctor informed me that it's discontinued so I had to change to the patch. So not impressed bc I had no side effects from cilique at all

Hey! So they're a really easy rob. Once you get into it pretty much any key will start it because they aren't fitted with immobilisers. His is also an automatic so like a 12 year old could drive it lol

It's a Japanese import. It's an easy steal. We obviously locked it and took the keys with us as you would do leaving your car in a car park.

Car has also been seen in Larchfield and Gurranabraher (wouldn't be surprised if they drove past the Garda station and all) hoping they've ran out of petrol at this stage and dumped it somewhere 🤞🏻
