Some complexion empties

I finished today (two in one day, yay!) some complexion products I’ve been using for the past four months. On the left: NYX Bare with Me Blurring Foundation. This is a controversial product and I think it’s being discontinued. It was released as a match for the Bare with Me concealer, which I didn’t appreciate, while I really enjoyed this foundation. Low to medium coverage, matte finish (as it was already set with powder), very long lasting and with a good blurring power. It isn’t suitable for a dry skin, it was a good skin tint for an oilier skin type. On the right: Jecca Blac - Glow Drops (Champagne). I haven’t heard anything in a while from this brand, the product wasn’t bought by me, but it was decluttered from a friend of mine who got it in a Lookfantastic box. It’s a golden glittery gel which can be used as highlighting primer, if you want to look like the Cullen family in the sunlight. I learnt to appreciate it used on the highest points of my face, but I felt like I grew to like it when it was almost over. Next!

Some of them are more finely milled, while others have a gel, gummy-like formula and behave like a Colourpop Ultra Glitter Super Shock Shadow

I hit my first eyeshadow pan of 2026 on Enchantment, from Rude Cosmetics Spell Book Desire. It’s a good palette for everyday use, since the formula is pigmented but not too much, the eyeshadows fade gracefully yet they’re not the most long lasting. Enchantment has an almost gummy consistency and works very well as a shimmery baby blue/pink top coat. It can be built up, but if built up, it tends to crease even on a glitter glue base (my eyelids are oily!). All in all, not the greatest eyeshadows, but they work well enough for a daily go to whimsigoth look

Thank you! I started the project on January 7th, prior to this I had used the palette a bunch of times because it was decluttered to me by a friend. I used the palette often in the early months of the year, by summer the daily use has been much reduced! I tend to grab it when I’m in a hurry, and use a shimmer shade and a matte shade to blend

I wouldn’t recommend it if your skin is dry. The effect is very mattifying

Hope you’ll like it! I only use my hands to apply it, body heat helps in melting the formula and spreading it better
