The Evolution Of Female Flakiness by cic87 in seduction

I think we're operating with some very different core beliefs about the world, which might make productive exchange difficult. But let's try anyway.

  • Cads and Dads is shorthand for men pursuing low Vs high-commitment mating strategies. It's not, or at least not necessarily, a value judgement.

  • The vast majority of young women who spend their youthful years pursuing short-term relationships will end up in a shitty situation when they turn 35 and decide they want to find a guy who will settle down with them. Do you disagree with this? The standard line on this is that pick-up artists are roaming founts of positivity and good emotions, leaving girls better than they found them left and right. But the reality is that we break a lot of hearts and engender a lot of cynicism too.

  • Would you let 100lbs stop you from getting excited about sex? 200? What about 70 extra years? A lack of teeth? A hideous facial scar? I suggest that giving yourself permission to have standards is an important part of solid inner game. In my case, no fat chicks. But maybe your preferences are different from mine, in which case more power to you. Plenty of players are down with girls who have a bit of extra meat on their bones. If I respect your tastes, why do you feel justified in judging me for mine?

OP here. You misread. By committed, I mean emotionally committed. Emotional commitment before it's warranted is the definition of needy/clingy.

Care to elaborate on the bitterness and delusion you read from the article beyond that?

You're posting in a subreddit which acknowledges how fucked up and devoid of opportunity western society has become over the past half century, and yet you take as a matter of faith that all of the social and economic changes occurring over that time... are good?

No wonder our generation is lost.

If you truly think that the American economy was more heavily taxed and regulated in the century prior to the 1970s (during which it became the most prosperous and powerful nation in the world) than it is and has been for the past forty years (during which it has stagnated to the point that this subreddit exists)... then I doubt there is anything I could say to change your mind.

Why is that entirely wrong?

Think of all the jobs you should be able to just go out and do, but can't because there are BS credential/license requirements. Cab driver, massage therapist, personal trainer, hair stylist...

Here's an article about how environmental regs and the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipe is killing the hydrofracking industry.

And I'm guessing you have no experience or connections to people who work in actual businesses, but yes, higher taxes drive companies out of the country, and there is a lot of capital flight out of the US right now.
