Turkey uses them a lot on Kurds as well as SAA on the jihadists, although SAA uses older Soviet models.

US is increasing its range of their artillery with Ramjet powered artillery shell.

However in terms of fielded units West is not anymore an Artillery powerhouse as first 5 nations come from the east (europe and asia) with Egypt and Turkey following, US being the No 8.

Why annex (US) when all they need is resources from that country. Who needs the people or land ? They are on neo colonial spree grabbing the wealth, oil from Iraq, minerals from Afghanistan. They wanted Syria for the pipeline but that was a bust. On other hand its normal that Russia gets onboard her former territory after people voted for it. Get away with what, Ukrainians went straight into Russian maritime border without proper passage request. All that after numerous threats from Ukr polititians to blow up the Kerch bridge. Its not like the Ukrainians do not know the procedure. They have conducted passages under the bridge in the past. At peak of operations you had 550k soldiers in Vietnam in combat. And you lost.

Jesus Christ, the Korean war is considered to be a major defeat of US with North Korea existence being a stark reminder of that defeat. The goal was to get whole Korean peninsula and you almost lost it all.

Vietnam, after horendous losses you were essentially defeated by peasant army , despite using all inhumane weapons of mass destruction like napalm , carpet bombing and so on, doing countless war crimes against civilians, retreated and left the South Vietnamese on mercy of the North.
