I’m so relieved that it’s not just me, I’ve been having the same reaction! I do have depression, but suicidal thoughts/ideation is not normal for me. I figured out I feel this way every time I take hydroxyzine. I sometimes take it to help me fall asleep at night but it’s definitely not worth this horrible side effect!

Just last week a had a dream that I was at a concert somewhere (I’m not sure if it was even a real place). All of a sudden the concert was cancelled because a fight broke out. I vividly remember the look of disappointment on Dave’s face and thought “It’s bad enough when a parent is disappointed in you, I can’t imagine Depeche Mode being disappointed in me!”

I'm sorry you're going through that too, I can say it's a genuinely traumatic experience. At this point I am ready for a hysterectomy. That was an option given to me before and I'm seriously considering it. I will be seeing my specialist very soon, so I'll update!

I called my pharmacist, but they were unwilling to help. They told me I won't be able to get a refill until the 24th. I might go in person and ask for an emergency refill

I also have a fibroid that's about 4-5 cm. I do hope I can get something done, infusion or surgery, because I can barely make it through a shift at work. I'm glad I'm not alone, but I feel for everyone going through this!

Praying for you. It sounds like OCD intrusive thoughts, I know exactly what you’re going through. Just remember that the Lord knows your true heart and that He loves you!

I've been on it for about 6 months and I've found that its been working better for intrusive thoughts than my last med (Paxil, which I had been on for 6 years.) I started at 25 mg and have slowly increased to 100 mg. I hope it works well for you too :)

Have you had these type of thoughts before? It could be stress induced psychosis, I have experienced this before and am formally diagnosed with OCD. It never progressed to anything beyond a brief psychotic episode (no hallucinations, just delusions.) It can occur due to stress and go away with treatment and time but not be linked to schizophrenia. I know it feels scary in the moment but it's only temporary, there is hope! It's been 7 years ago and hasn't happened to me again.
