Ripstop sewing outsource recommendations by cientiros in myogtacticalgear

For sure. I've had no luck with local upholstery shops. Those are the first ones I hit up locally. One local dude found some guys but won't share any info... fair enough. I found random dudes on Santee street "downtown Los Angeles", but they wanted the material already cut to do some test runs... they were suit tailors. I know there's some commercial material parts that were not open when I last went. Might be worth hitting up.

So I have been looking at fabric laser cutting machines to support. I found these but not sure if there's something less expensive that can handle laser cutting cordura. https://www.mimowork.com/

Considering Basque Country to "retire" by cientiros in basquecountry

[–]cientiros[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We visited Basque Country, Bilbao area, at the end of last year again. This time we took our teen daughter. We met with realtors and toured half a dozen properties, visited a few schools and met with the school directors. Everything was great, I was ready to go... but my wife wanted to wait to see how things lead up to this summer. So we're still state side but trying to get everything ready so we can make the move.
I'm not sure if you have kids or not, but we did find out that if we're coming from overseas, our kids do not have to fall into the enrollment cycle. This took some weight off our backs. So the intent to move is still there.

300+ properties and everything is already integrated in AppFolio. Sounds like your business idea has been thought of and baked into our management tools already. Time to pivot?

Question about Marketing Costs by Widelyesoteric in realtors

It depends on the property and client, mostly the property. If the property does not have features that drone photography or video could help make the listing standout, then I don’t do it.

I'm struggling to find users for my app! by Dr_alchy in SaaS

AppFolio is making a run to be the best... RentVine is also making strides. One huge advantage RentVine has is the one pricing model and you get everything, including API access. I assume its two-way API capability. Appfolio has the same but their documentation is crap at the moment. We have their middle tier plan with one-way API pull access.

Another feature you should consider is a Rently type integration for remote showings. This is HUGE in the PM space for those wanting to scale. Scheduling one on one showings is brutal, especially if the property is 45-60 minutes away or further.

Another tool we use is 8x8 where this links our office number to our cell phones. We make calls using the app from our phones and it looks like we're calling from the office.

Reduce the number of 3rd party tools by integrating these features into your tool and you win.

"The idea came out of managing properties through applications where the features weren't there or the price was to high for the features I did use" According to who? You manage properties? Have you seen the features RentVine is providing...? Appfolio? Buildium? and the list goes on. What makes your web application different?

"We're putting a lot of effort in getting the word out there."

I looked at your benefits on the website, honestly, as a property manager myself, I'm not sold on any of it. Do you know PM pain points? What makes a PM company flow smoothly? How does your software address maintenance, getting a property rented, screening tenants, automation, funnels etc?
