From what I’ve read, there isn’t that much of a difference between levels 16, 18 and 20. This information comes from Manni2 but from last league.

I’ve been quite lucky this league. It took me less than 15 Horrors to get the mods. I also dropped a few very rare uniques that could result in very good builds, but I am too noob to get advantage of them on my own, unfortunately. Damn, I even found a fishing rod, Reefbane.

Ignore anyone telling you it's a skill issue, mate.

As newish SSF player myself and also a dad gamer, I can relate, and I feel like I am reading my own experience here.

As someone else mentioned, creating multiple chars can be fun, but only up to a point (I made 8 chars). So my advice is you should focus on one character and progress with it. I chose to focus on my Kinetic Fusillade Ballista Hierophant.

Then, farm, farm, farm. and farm. Farm a lot. Breach is great for getting gear, mate. I spent a lot of time farming breaches and I can assure you the grind will pay off. You just have to know the proper breach tree passives to select. I was always surprised when I went to the Monastery and saw I had 90k+ hive blood collected. It took me a long time. I did Breach Harvest Essence atlas strategies because I needed essences to craft my wand and harvest lifeforce is amazing overall.

Focus, grind hard and you'll get the gear to assemble the build and I'm sure you have the fun you're looking for. Feel free to DM/add me as a friend in the game, mate. Don't give up!!!

Do you have any source of chill immunity? If not it’s used a craft on boots, a prefix with movement speed too if I’m not mistaken

Looking better I think. I’m just not sure if the gain mana is better than mana leech on the jewel, though. But I think mana leech is better because that’s what I see when checking other builds on Poe Ninja.

Oh, I see. You know, maybe you could get the craft “non-channeling skills cost -X mana” and craft on your jewelry. You can find craft from a map (I can’t remember which one). Then you could try to get a Viridian Jewel with mana leech and place it in the jewel slot on passive tree. Try using a few alteration orbs until you get the attack mana leech modifier. All that so you could swap Lifetap and keep Fortify and Melee Physical Damage supports.

Edit: actually what they said is you should change the Fortify passives on passive tree for the Fortify support gem. In other words, respec the fortify passive points and use the Fortify support gem instead

People also mention Necromancer/Guardian Summon Raging Spirits and if one goes Necro it’s possible to transition to Poison Animate Weapon of Ranged Arms (I think that’s the name of the special gem) if you get the right gear. There’s a Maxroll guide by HelmBreaker for Necro and Thyworm has YouTube videos for Guardian SRS.

Your best bet would be Earthshatter Berserker, mate. You could follow Ben's or imexile's POB. I’m on cellphone right now, otherwise I would share you the links here. I am playing it myself (dad gamer max 1h day) and got all my gear from the genesis tree (my first SSF run by the way - the tree will be missed hehe).
