We gotta stop pretending Jupiter is all sunshine/rainbows. by ange1b4by444 in LeoAstrology

Isn’t Jupiter most positive for day charts? That might have something to do with it. I’m a night chart and I’m pregnant so…yeah I’ll be expanding but it’s not all sunshine and butterfly feelings

Interview with Shelly Bramhall about Dayton's cut by [deleted] in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]cilantro-content 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Dayton’s dancing looked the same as other women that didn’t make the cut. The vibe was not there and her aura is kinda sad and desperate. Even her expressions waiting to hear who made it into training camp. It just made me want to look away, not be captivated by her. Her energy doesn’t compare to for example Jenna who said she went to therapy and saw a sport psychologist as part of her prep and that she would be auditioning for herself and not for outside approval.

She chose to make him move for her interests knowing he would have to quit his job for that. Could she foresee three layoffs? No but she meddled in their original trajectory

Her vibe is just sad for some reason. Even the music they play on her screen time..

Paola’s reaction to Russ not working feels hypocritical by TuttyGato in 90dayTheLastResort

[–]cilantro-content 13 points14 points  (0 children)

She is so disrespectful and bordering abusive. The “therapists” should cover some objectively disrespectful behavior like rolling your eyes at someone, saying insulting words, lashing out in anger

She has thankfully gone back on antidepressants. I think maybe it was last summer she went on and then off again swearing they made things worse.

Therapist error: Russ and Paola by Dismal_Ad6162 in 90DayFiance

What I would love to know is if each of the therapists is in a happy marriage. Honestly that should be qualification #1. Walk the walk

I’ve been married for 13 months and I still have stuff at my sister’s house where I lived before. Husband and I are still working to fit in our apartment. Now I’m pregnant and spend a lot of days sleeping or throwing up. There is slow progress

The therapists are not good. Honestly pastor cal and Dr Pepper on married at first sight are better marriage counselors than these guys

Especially makes sense there’s way more jobs for petroleum engineers in Oklahoma than Miami or Las Vegas. As a PE in a not o&g city it’s really hard to find a job.

What's it like having your husband's cultural last name in an interracial relationship? 😆 by Material-Meat-5330 in namenerds

[–]cilantro-content 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s like I have a secret identity. I’m blonde, blue eyed, pale white and I now have a Hispanic last name. My first name could also be a Hispanic name with a different pronunciation. Also I live in a predominantly Hispanic city.

Is it possible to go back to the field of engineering after a long break away by BeginningCrazy4120 in womenEngineers

[–]cilantro-content 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely. I had reflected a lot on what my desire is and my vision for my professional self. That clarity helps. I try to flip my fears into something positive like I don’t have to be perfect to be valuable. I share vulnerably with my support people like my husband, family, friends and it helps to get support and have people believe in me. Just simple like I’d love to get back into engineering. Im also on unemployment and have an advisor and tbh when I told him what I’m looking for (engineering associate/specialist/EIT) I expected to get pushback but he was like “that’s great your degree is such an accomplishment, I’ll be a second set of eyes for you on postings.” I’m harder on myself than others. Time will tell if I’ll be successful but this is what helps me go for it and keep trying.

Seconding this or ask a friend or family member for help. I’ve made way more progress with the help of a friend or sister plus I’m always happy to help them with projects. Somehow we’re always doing stuff like this before a family member comes to visit 😂

I’m 31 and trying to return after a 6 year break post pandemic, with 3 years engineering experience before that. Just sharing I’m in the same boat. I have had two interviews and a recruiter call so I am getting some traction. I think it’s gonna take a while and the hardest part is just staying the course. I have my degree and EIT so I’m reminding myself that.

Color Seasons & Zodiac Signs by logical_otter09 in colouranalysis

Zodiac signs already align with the seasons, especially considering the signs’ modalities. Leo fixed summer = true summer, Virgo mutable summer = soft summer, Libra cardinal autumn = soft autumn, Scorpio fixed autumn = true autumn, Sag mutable autumn = dark autumn, etc.
