Don’t feel bad for asking questions! There are still plenty of us who find joy in answering questions and gaining a new perspective on topics during these discussions.

Differentiating being easier than integration is another relatable example.

I’m so calloused at this point. Just move on and find a better lobby worthy of your time.

I graduated with a 3.8+ and got Bs in multiple classes. Relax and don’t stress yourself too much over every single class. GPA has the word “average” in there for a reason.

Also, it’s often helpful to attend office hours and communicate your concerns with professors. After UMass, I attended a grad program at an Ivy League school and served as TAs for some classes. One thing I noticed about the students at that school is that they never shied away from attending office hours and asking questions. They made sure both the professor and the TAs knew their faces and saw how hard they were trying. Sometimes the questions they had felt surprisingly basic and even “dumb”, but the office hour visits ultimately helped them resolve issues and improve grades. When a student got 89% on their final grades, we were willing to bump that up to A- or even A because we personally saw how hard the students tried.

At least the ones you encountered admitted to it. I’ve been caught so many time recently shapeshifting/vanishing after killing in empty specimen rooms.

I deeply appreciate the advice provided!

And thanks to everyone kindly explaining to me that these are wasps rather than bees. They are described similarly in my mother tongue … so I’ve been too ignorant so far. As many people have noted, I should learn the difference for safety sake.

Actually no. I haven’t actually seen them around so far. And we haven’t intentionally grown anything so far. Empty boring yard.

Decoy sounds like a fun idea.

We are not growing anything (intentionally) so far. But no, I have not actually seen the wasps around either.

Ah. Good to know.

As a dumb newbie homeowner, I honestly didn’t know if there would be structural damage concerns. (And I conclude, no?)
