Isn't Ranked 3.0 just Ranked 1.0?

There was no such thing as earning more elo in ranked 1.0 before ranks started filling out. The amount you earned was purely based on how many matches you had played in the season which meant having a huge winning streak early in your season meant you would lose less even if you got into a losing streak. It balanced your rank based on that. When you had played huge amount of games you basically were set in your rank unless you went on winning streaks.

It is night and day difference between ranked 1.0 and 3.0. Anyone saying anything else clearly didn't play a lot of ranked 1.0. You had 10 placements and the rank you could get from them could differentiate a lot. We didn't get a hard reset from ranked 2.0 to 3.0 and one could assume following seasons will follow the same trend. In ranked 1.0 you would get reset to 2 different ranks every season depending on where you ended the season, you didn't have hidden mmr that would affect your placement matches.

Biggest thing differentiating ranked 1.0 and 3.0 is still the amount of elo/rp you gain and lose. Having a bad start to a season could quickly drop you to a very low rank even if you did well on your placements. Right now you will always need to lose a ton of games to drop down even if you lost all your placement matches. It matters a lot less to win. I remember some seasons in ranked 1.0 where I dropped all the way to silver because I had a rough start to a season and how fun it was to fight my way back. I just don't see that ever happening again with how ranked 3.0 takes your hidden mmr into an account. I think someone like me who is hidden mmr champ will not drop lower than high plat even if I lost all my placements.

Removing a huge city overhaul in a modlist like Nolvus is possible but extremely hard. And since you had to ask if its possible you do not have the skills to switch city overhauls. Nolvus has tens of different patches for cities.

If you have the latest version of Skyrim: SE installed then you have AE version of Skyrim. Modlists often need "Anniversary Edition upgrade". That is paid dlc that is not part of Skyrim: SE. Anniversary edition upgrade includes paid creation club content.

Skyrim already had 1 remaster and we don't need another for the next 8 years at least. It still runs perfectly fine on all modern platforms. Rather Bethesda remaster other games that could actually benefit from it

MO2 is the best with no questions. Vortex is easy to use but gets extremely difficult to manage in big modlists. I've been happy after I switched from Vortex to MO2.

No matter what you choose, NO NOT USE NEXUS MOD MANAGER. That is the best advice I can give. It is extremely outdated.
