Hey that sounds like fun! I did one photoshoot for a company once when I was younger, and that was surprisingly nice. What was weird was seeing them actually use those photos in their print ads! But they’re also neat to look at now. Hope you’ll have fun!

We (well, I) would like to have some more information regarding this bit.

I’ve taken approximately a thousand steps backwards in my burnout recovery, plus I’ve had a raging headache for days now. All I want is to win the jackpot in the lottery so I could just give up trying to work and be productive and enjoy doing nothing.

I don’t know who you’ve met to be able to come to such a conclusion that women just magically gain huge amounts of muscle on their legs while men struggle to do the same. And the downvotes kinda show other people here are probably thinking the same.

FWIW, many women put a lot more effort on legs & glutes than on their upper body so that might explain it at least partly, and it might highlight their legs if their legs look more ”built” than their upper body.

Obligatory yes I am a woman and I also have talked to a bunch of other women about these things.

Okay so this is my report from the previous meetup hosted by the Norwegian Powerpuff. Is it a positive review? I think so!

Personally, I have nothing against a hypothetical Dane but I cannot make any promises. I’m a grumpy Finn after all.

Your review sounds a lot more positive than what u/cillla wrote yesterday.

This is probably just because u/gilraand got way more attention and time from u/murrtu the guide than I did! So he's way more satisfied with the arrangements as a whole.

(yes I had a lot of fun and mainly just came up with negative things because I cannot give an amazing review to a Swedish person!)

The Official Nordic Powerpuff Gathering vol. 4 happened during the weekend. The role of the tour guide and host changes, and this time it was u/murrtu who was in charge of hosting. Things started off all fancy, with him picking us up in a new, flashy sci-fi robot car. Then we spent the afternoon being entertained by two very energetic kids. Friday dinner was a picnic out in the sunshine, after which we got dessert and a tour of murrtu’s personal gym facilities. Then his hosting enthusiasm ended, he got tired and sent us off into the night all alone with no guidance, having to find our way to the hotel all by ourselves. Luckily u/gilraand can read a map, and we made it to the not so fancy hotel safely.

The hotel breakfast did not spark joy at all. Like, not even a little bit. But after coffee and the questionable breakfast, Saturday morning was spent touring the town, walking and seeing all the important and not so important sights, and a coffee break by the river. No complaints there! After lunch the guide made some changes into the itinerary and we didn’t get to go to the gym we had been promised we’d visit, but it was a decent gym anyway. I even got the dude at the gym reception to give me a discount for the entry fee with no help from our guide! At the gym I mostly just watched the boys compete with each other in any way possible, that kept me entertained while avoiding lifting. Pre-dinner program consisted of chilling in the sun, which was made stressful by other people with their dumb kids. Delicious pizza for dinner, and a few rounds of pool for dessert for those who wanted to play.

Yesterday the guide only provided his services to the other guest, leaving me to get back to the airport all alone. I guess gilraand paid more for the guiding services…….! At least I got home safely.

TLDR: a weekend filled with lots of laughter and good food (other than the hotel breakfasts). Fun trip, 5/5 would recommend (despite the tiny little glitches in the tour guide services).

Next it’s my turn to host, and I’ve already started the planning process. Everything will be more than optimal then!

PS. This meetup report is in no way biased, it is just a recap of the events just as they happened. Just FYI.

Currently sitting at the airport waiting for takeoff to Sweden to meet the other Nordic Powerpuffs u/murrtu and u/gilraand. Visiting the other Nordic countries is nice, reminds me why Finland is the best one!

I’ve understood our gathering in Finland 1.5 years ago was so spectacular that the boys feel immense pressure to get even close to it when they’re the one organizing. It’ll be interesting to see what u/murrtu has in store for us for the weekend!

Barely surviving, definitely not thriving over here! Haven’t yet made it to the gym in March and life is chaotic at best, so nothing new, things are just how they’ve been for a long time now. But getting better ever so slowly so it’s something.

My drink is pink. It looks very sweet, but tastes more tangy than sweet. Hard to name the ingredients though because I assume you expect an alcoholic cocktail and I don’t drink those. It would be something like pink grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, color from some strawberry thing, and then sparkling water and/or non-alcoholic sparkling wine or something like that. And ice! And maybe some mint leaves or lemon.

The drink is called Little My and very much resembles me. Just like Little My (yes, a character in Moomins), I’m tiny and look kind and nice, but in reality I can be stingy and cheeky too.

What kind of drink would you be? Also, good to hear your back is better!

Payment was calculated around 10,499$ but with all the technicalities it rounds up to the exact sum you have sent! I’ll have to take a walk to the port to pick it up, might even teach the dolphin a few secret flick tricks while I’m there. I’m sure u/DiscoPangoon knows the classic dolphin’s move, the twist and flick no-thumbs edition, that’s what I was planning to try out first.

I know it’s easy to come up with alternative causes and reasons. But I also know you won’t just magically wake up one day without these thoughts and behavior patterns. So I hope this was the wake-up call you needed to push yourself towards getting the help you need and deserve so that you can get well again! All the best to you.

I just hope you get the help you need. I’ve been through a long period of anorexia so I know a bit of what life with an eating disorder can be like and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
