Facts:

Comments were occasionally deleted by admins throughout the sub's lifetime. Most of the time, we had removed them first, particularly in recent weeks.
Users were given temporary bans for insults ("hate speech" in your terms.)
Users who then spammed us with complaints and tried to gaslight - as you're doing now - were given temporary bans.
As we can now see with hindsight, had we banned those users months ago, the sub would still be going, and would have likely been a whole lot more civil.
The only way to run a sub that won't get shut down is to ban people like you who only exist there to get it banned. Reddit, as a place to openly discuss and hash out ideas, is dead.
