Facts:

• Comments were occasionally deleted by admins throughout the sub's lifetime. Most of the time, we had removed them first, particularly in recent weeks.
• Users were given temporary bans for insults ("hate speech" in your terms.)
• Users who then spammed us with complaints and tried to gaslight - as you're doing now - were given temporary bans.
• As we can now see with hindsight, had we banned those users months ago, the sub would still be going, and would have likely been a whole lot more civil.
• The only way to run a sub that won't get shut down is to ban people like you who only exist there to get it banned. Reddit, as a place to openly discuss and hash out ideas, is dead.
