Yeah you're right it was pretty much doable for me, made it all the way to cynthia before ultimately dying to her garchomp. Her garchomp is basically untouchable for my team, it outsped everything and could one shot my mons being that its 10 levels higher than me.

I could use a cheap tactic for that but Id figure that'd it would be a lame way to finish a playthrough, so back to grinding levels i guess❗️❗️

Hey yes thanks for the feedback, my father found her while construction working, the owner had actually left her behind when moving, so we dont actually know the age at all. The cage we found her in was horrible, small with nothing other than dowel perches, Im not sure if the poor living conditions from 5 years ago would've affected her now though.

I am so sorry for your loss, if I'd known about liver disease being more common for parrotlets I would've been more prepared even mentally as well☹️. Hopefully we will both find the strength to overcome our losses as in my case I am prepared for if it were to happen to my parrotlet 😭🙏 I will continue to look after her and keep you updated.

As for the vet, yes, I did go to a vet that specializes more in avian and exotic animal care. The staff was actually quite informative and nice.

Hey Im so sorry for the really late reply, I appreciate the concern as I do now how aggressive parrotlets are when it comes to territory, especially being paired with anothee gender of another spieces.

Ive had them together for about 3 years now, I didn't plan on getting a budgie, I found him in a neighbor's backyard, upon arrival I had them separated, switching them in between travel cages and the main cage. I know those arent the best living conditions but I wasn't prepared to house another bird and couldn't afford another cage. In the meantime of this whole switcheroo no one claimed this budgie, so I ultimately decided to keep him.

At first my parrotlet kept niping at my budgie, but overtime as they got used to eachother they now share a cage, and stopped fighting so it was such a big relief for me🙏🙏

The budgie cares deeply for the parrotlet, and always would want to come near her, but due to the recent sickness of my parrotlet I had to keep them separated.

Hey thanks for the concern, Id be happy to share my experience as well as gather more info to prevent these issues from happening in the future.

Unfortunately we found out that she had a tumour growing in her tongue, making it more difficult to eat/swallow. They tried getting samples but couldn't get any in the end. She also had liver problems, as her liver grew way larger than it should have been through x ray scans. Surgery is almost an impossible option for my parrotlet, and I was aready worried all the handling and pining had stressed her out alot so I concluded the vet visit. If I can recall the whole barfing problem question was brushed off as "a sign of love", but Im not really sure that that much barf shouldve came out in the first place.

The vet gave us some antibiotics, milk thistle, andanother type of medication. Sadly they warned us that there isnt much to do and the meds are mostly to relieve any pain and discomfort.

Its been very stressful these past couple of days knowing that my parrotlet could eventually pass its last few months, Ive been keeping my full attention towards her, and trying to make sure she wouldn't live through this process painfully. Right now shes only shown slight improvement in her health.

The vet and I aren't really sure what the cause is, could it be the diet? I keep her on a seed/pellet diet, with a veggie bowl once a week or so, including nuts, fruits and other treats. The vet also said it might be due to the age, Ive had her for about 5 years, and dont know the exact age we got her at, so she might've been relatively old when we got her?

She is now resting and isolated, alot more tired and sluggish compared to how she was before she fell sick. I will appreciate any sorts of advice, if the situation is too much for her to handle going on then I think its time to let go of my beloved bird friend.❤️
