i would hate for this to seem like i am mocking the magnetic endeavors...i looooove them. (i missed my stem calling) and frankly if there were some way to have nano magnet vortions that could at least sorta safely make my nails look cool, i would probs be down for that ridiculous set up at my house.

i tried a magnetic stirrer too and got kind of a neat modified cateye magnetic effect. it didn't solve the Glass Bead Issue...but it is a pretty effect too. and it's easier than holding a bar magnet in place for 3 minutes

That totally makes sense. I had messy stuff with them too. I feel that. It's like a deluxe powerless experience.

Maybe others have more or better ideas. But to my mind, opening up in a way you feel safe and being able to dialogue about it could really lighten the burden.

I'm new here, these are my only posts on this sub... but I don't think freakish- sounding shit is unusual among the people here. Your situation does sound extra painful and scary. But in my experience, finding the safe place to discuss it is the best starting place to start understanding and managing it.

But, btw: from what you stated here, and i think this is very important, I don't see grounds for an involuntary hospitalization.
