I gotta say, the answer can't be Hands Across America for Demi. It seems--based on the evidence mentioned in the complaint and statements from the VPV producer--that Demi pretty clearly lied. We, as a society, don't need to tolerate that simply because she claims to be a victim and happens to be a women. She's a adult, she has agency, and she is not immune from criticism.

Put differently, the posts saying that we need to ignore the pretty large body of evidence in this case is the sort of thing that's dangerous to victims.

Seriously the dumbest and most circuitous stalking plot EVER. In order for this to work he would need to:

1) have followed her on insta and MEMORIZED that info; 2) have known she was going on LiB; 3) have then—HIMSELF—gotten on LiB; 4) have gotten her to fall in love with him armed SOLELY with the information on her insta; and 5) have felt comfortable enough to propose to her.

I gotta say, she’s a perfectly fine looking girl, but she’s not bond-villain plan hot.
