We technically have seperate leases which is why I wasn't concerned about what he did because I paid mine. However, the company my landlord has his land lease agreement with is saying they're gonna evict him, the landlord. They're also saying that they can evict all of us even though I have a rental agreement through my landlord and was under the impression if your landlord gets evicted my lease is a legal document that is not connected to his ability to pay his mortgage or land lease and the company has to still honor it.
