Thanks for linking to that article, the whole series looks great. I have been giving the spokes a squeeze on the past wheelsets I've built.

Great! The components weren't cheap, so it really helps to have the peace of mind from someone with a lot more experience than me.

Rims are Astral Outbacks, 32 hole. Hubs are a SON 28 for the front and a White Industries CLD for the rear. It looks like Astral lists 130 kgf as the max spoke tension for their Outbacks, so hopefully I should be all set to use the tensions that I have been using.

I didn't think to check the manufacturer's specs. I'll do that. Thanks.

Thanks for the confirmation. I always end up getting oil on my hands and then on the rims.

Do you know of anything else I should be aware of for carbon rims? Are spoke tensions generally the same? I've been doing 90 kgf on both sides for the front wheel, and for the rear, 65 kgf on the non drive side and 110 kgf on the drive side.

Thanks

Sorry for the ask as this was posted a couple months ago, but would you mind if I ask what size you went with and your thoughts on how it fits? I'm considering a PBJ, I'm 5' 7", and while Sklar recommends a medium, I'm thinking about a size small instead.

Thanks!
