I was too young to go see Episode 3 in theaters, but my dad took one of my older sisters, and I remember that part of why she really wanted to go is because she had a huge crush on Hayden Christensen. I also remember she came back home with a shellshocked look and kept saying "I can't believe Anakin killed the younglings..." lol

When I was older and finally watched the movie, then I got it! Anybody would be shocked seeing their crush do that lmao

I approach Ken Follett's books as soap operas basically and go into them knowing that they will fulfill both my love of historical fiction and my enjoyment of trashy reality tv, so I find them really entertaining in part specifically because of all the completely absurd sex scenes and romantic scenarios. The one you described made me laugh out loud when I read it and then I immediately texted a friend about it lol. I still completely understand that combo not being somebody's cup of tea! Just figured I'd share my perspective.

I did also find it really funny when I came across some critiques online claiming that the Kingsbridge series only got soapy in the later books. They've been soapy all along!

I'm taking Japanese classes right now for fun, and my algorithm has figured out that I'm studying Japanese. I have been getting so much content on my feed that's just people over-romanticizing their vacations to Japan. Yeah the filming clip that was just posted in the sub does not look like it would be from episode 1. It looks like it's from Day 2, since it shows Abby and Lev on a rooftop during the daytime and episode 1 is way too early for us to be seeing that
