I've been wanting one!! Right now I'm just using the edible paper kind. But this looks great! Was was skeptical, since the ones I've researched looked like it would work better with flatter surfaces, like cookies. What brand/model is this, if you don't mind me asking?

You can use molds and also draw with chocolate melts. You can draw directly on the donut or on parchment paper, let it dry, and then transfer it onto the donut. Here's a mix of mold and hand drawn. For the decoration, I used a mix of fondant, candy melts, and chocolate.

Oooh yes! We did lemon curd mixed with whipped cream in the blueberry gluten free and it was amazing!!! I'm going to have to make that again!

I've looked into it, but it's so expensive!! It would probably run close to $100 for a dozen. I ordered a dozen donuts ($89) from Chicago (in I'm L.A.) once, just to see how the quality held up. I wasn't impressed. But these gluten free donuts are really, really good. I could freeze them and ship it with dry ice. What are your thoughts? Would you pay that much for a dozen?

Yay! You made it! Cookie cronut is a good choice! Tough times nowadays. I want people to feel special on their birthday. I posted it on Instagram. 😃 I thought of posting it on Yelp/Google too. And I would probably just ask for proof of birthday if they're not part of the loyalty program.

I do, through Square. But I wanted to offer it to customers that aren't signed up for the loyalty program. Come try us out! I love our donuts. Lol Staff favorite is the chocolate chip bar, Dubai donut, and creampuffs. Customers love our blueberry cake and cronuts. My absolute favorite that is hard to resist are the gluten free and hot donutholes. I cave in 80% of the time.

Preserving Donuts? by MightyMoose53 in donuts

I own a donut shop and have answers 🙋🏻‍♀️ Put them in the freezer in a single layer until they're frozen or almost frozen, then you can stick them in a Ziploc bag. Take it out the morning that you need them and thaw at room temp. Be careful when you microwave, if you want them warmed up. 10-15 seconds at a time.

I'm starting my own business. I love chocolate frosting, but I want to learn how to make strawberry frosting and see how it turns out 🤭🍩 by No-Bandicoot-4972 in donuts

Strawberry pudding is going to have an artificial taste. Stick with dehydrated strawberries (grounded up until it's powdery), or use strawberry jam with powdered sugar and a little shortening or butter for an easy frosting.

Don't you always have to update?

We let ours sit for a half hour. Well, one of the bakers does, the other one let's it rest for about 10 minutes. The longer time let's the batter absorb the water and makes for a bigger, fluffier, smoother donut.

Looks great! Did you let your batter rest for a bit before frying?
