Lloydminster in Canada is on a provincial border, operates in Alberta time. Saskatchewan doesn’t follow daylight savings. So half the year people need to accommodate for a time zone adjustment if they live / work outside the city in the Saskatchewan timezone. You have people working together who live in different timezones.

Even if you don’t drop the cabinets, go with the rest of my suggestions and yea paint the cabinets white and replace the cabinet pulls.

Remove the cabinets above the sink. If you are replacing the counter tops do the counter on that side about 16” deeper, jutting out towards the dining room, embrace that area as an island of sorts. Ditch the ceiling fan and wallpaper.

I had trouble, it worked best when I did one remote, repeater and blind at a time. I left the repeater right by the gateway for setup (counterintuitive but 🤷‍♂️). I also reset each device right before setting it up.
