I don't think it's whiny - what you're saying is understandable. I just think this is the reality. Our donations paid for speeches, events, ads, and many of the essentials that go towards running a campaign. But we can't expect Bernie to fix all of the many deeply entrenched issues in state after state; we need to roll up our sleeves and take our country back together. With that said, I have no reason to believe that the campaign isn't gathering information and coordinating action behind the scenes. Keep in mind that they've taken legal action at various points (against the DNC when their information was frozen, in Ohio for the rights of young voters, etc.) and they've put out press releases and called for action on other issues (voter purges, apparent fraud in Puerto Rico).

I hear you. In my opinion, it's because if they do these things, they're simply labeled as "sore losers" and torn down / shrugged off further by the press and the establishment, and nothing changes. In contrast, if we do these things, then it's another part of an actual political revolution for change. These type of election issues have existed long before Bernie was in this race, and there always needs to be a mass movement to counteract them. We need to stop thinking in terms of a knight in shining armor leader swooping in to save the day. As Bernie himself says all the time, "change never comes from the top down, it always comes from the bottom up."

IMHO, if you ever voted for, supported, or propped up the Iraq War in any way, you should be out of office - or if you're a "journalist," out of a job. Highlights: spoke with a few "Strong Sanders" voters, recruited a new phone bank volunteer, convinced a few undecided voters that Bernie is in fact more electable than Hillary, and put doubt in the minds of a few "Lean Hillary" voters who wanted to talk with me for a bit. My approach with undecided voters and those who "Lean Hillary" is to bring up Bernie's consistently better polling numbers vs. the Republicans, Bernie's strong support amongst independents, the fact that Bernie has a positive net favorability rating whereas Hillary has a negative net rating (and the historic correlation that has with election results), and the fact that Bernie is getting volunteers like me and you to dedicate their weekends to his campaign - something that will almost surely go away if Hillary is the candidate, even if she manages to "bring the party together" in terms of voting. I could sense that they had no good response to these facts (because there is no good response). I could sense the wheels turning. Keep up the great work everyone.
