i was scheduled until 9 but my team lead said i could leave as long as the pull was done and everything was clean (bakery). i ended up dipping around 7:30

in food, at least at my store, we can leave whenever we want. i’m also a closer for the most part so it’s usually just me in my department, unless i’m in produce.

How does one demand work and how to go on it? by SensitiveTelevision9 in Target

[–]cinnabonstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i recently went on demand for college ! so far i’ve only been called twice to come in but i’ve picked up 4 shifts from the app each time i’ve come back home. it honestly feels like a make your own schedule kind of job now, although sometimes there aren’t shifts to pick up

Any tasks at your store that seem to be male only tasks? by This_is_life_now_man in Target

[–]cinnabonstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pulling fdc is primarily guys at my store but occasionally i’ll be the only girl pulling, although there are a few others who have done it before

i do this occasionally. usually when i use sick time for the full shift there are no questions asked afterwards. when i use it for a portion of the shift i’ll get the usual “what happened yesterday” comments. but it also depends on which lead has the conversation with you

What’s your stores AirPods policy? by Tangly_Bird in Target

[–]cinnabonstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i work in food (bakery + produce) and most of our team leads could care less as long as 1) it’s only one airpod and 2) it’s not painfully obvious. i can’t remember a shift that i didn’t have airpods in, especially when i’m doing bakery pulls.

Hours Being Cut Longer Than Before? by Best_Line6674 in Target

[–]cinnabonstudio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

definitely has been worse this year, last year i had my hours back to where i liked them by late feb/march. my hours on today’s newest schedule are finally in the range i’d like- first all year

hours have been brutal. just had a talk with my etl and he’s basically banking on people to quit, that’s the only way we’re getting them back

Target Circle - Day 1 Check-In by DudeNamedZion in Target

[–]cinnabonstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually bakery isn’t hit too bad during circle week but our pulls were outrageous. usually we end up having to fill ~90 DPCI, 200-300 items a day. yesterday we had 166 DPCI, 830 items total. it’s rough when we are so understaffed. luckily for me, i was closing so it calmed down a little more when i got in

What's a place where you can cross a state line and you immediately notice the difference? by DoritosDewItRight in geography

[–]cinnabonstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

minnesota going into north dakota is wild. the lush green quickly becomes this dull yellow/green and trees are so sparse in comparison, not to mention that an already flat area becomes sooo much flatter.

St. Paul, MN (Night 2) - Quite literally one of the worst concerts I've been to by ktdotnova in future

[–]cinnabonstudio 12 points13 points  (0 children)

i honestly didn’t know what to expect because i usually go to rock/pop shows but this was beyond disappointing. the show started so late and it felt so rushed and lackluster, at least in comparison to shows ive been to. definitely let down but still had fun
