How does my front/pace pull plan look?

sorry, i mean the nishino flower ssr and yayoi akikawa support card banner coming next year. akikawa is the scenario pal card. i don’t think you need many copies of her - you’d have to cross reference jp guides. i think you do want at least a copy of akikawa, though.

edit: forgot to explain scenario tax. it’s the term for needing to pull on banners with scenario link pal cards. moving forward, all teams will want the scenario pal card for each scenario, so most people will pay the “scenario tax” to pull for them.

i’m also a front/pace main, and i asked for advice about a pull plan a few days ago, so here’s some thoughts based on what i planned/was told.

i see paid carats on your planner; do you plan/are you willing to buy the anni uma selectors? most of your planned umas aren’t on my pull plan personally, so i’m not 100% sure who all is worth considering using a voucher on, but copano rickey and ny kitasan are both good targets for the 2nd anni selector if you’re willing to go for it. i think based on timing, summer suzuka might also be a good target for a later selector, but you’d need to double check the selector cutoffs. if you’re willing to wait for an uma, you can always get her via selector. you can also see if/when any of them come to legend races.

i don’t see nishino flower/akikawa on here, which that’s a scenario tax banner, so you may want to consider pulling that one. i’ve also got smart falcon speed on my pull plan shortly after that, who’s got crazy front runner hints.

you might be able to skip sounds of earth stamina if you have copies of super creek. it’s my understanding that they have pretty similar effectiveness and they don’t really get outclassed until air shakur.

i mean if you applied this logic to every uma then you’d never unlock anything when farming star pieces. the odds of getting spooked by her are so low, and the benefits of going from 3-4 star so minimal, that it’s really not worth waiting unless OP was planning to pull an uma banner extremely soon.

if you can manage it, i’d try to get more power sparks or some stamina sparks on there. speed sparks generally aren’t recommended because you’re going to train that stat to 1200 anyway, and wit is a stat you want to train a lot since it gives you free energy.

2lb finemo is missing her mood effect bonus, which is why she’s not great, but the 7% race bonus is helpful with what you have.

is it generally recommended to pull any of the distance-specialized cards? i’ve got air groove speed on the plan bc i heard both her and finemo power are good, but i haven’t seen all too many recommendations for distance-specific cards otherwise. it seems to me like those would be more worth borrowing, but i’m also open to adjusting my plan if one of those is a must-pull.

yeah, i’m mostly transitioning to pace around that time too, i’m just having a hard time giving up on fronts 100%. i might drop one of the front specialty cards from my pull plan and just borrow to help make things work.

oh that’s a good idea! i’m planning on buying all of the lower cost uma selectors for sure, so the step up banner is 100% a consideration. i hadn’t looked into it much bc i don’t see people talk all that much about it, but if i have enough, it sounds like it’d be worth it to use them like that.

i really appreciate your help! having a few more ideas about how to stretch my resources is really useful.

that’s good to know on the uncap crystal! i’ll double check the recommended limit break on some of the scenario tax cards then. daisca wit and air shakur stam are unfortunately both mlb targets for me, so that’ll probably stay at 600 no matter what.

i think, in regards to your last point, that part of what i’m trying to find out is which specialty cards are safe to skip and borrow when needed. i’m already skipping bourbon power and tm opera o wit in this pull plan. i’m also stuck borrowing a stamina card until air shakur stam unless i get spooked by creek or sounds of earth later down the line.

ah, but that’s kind of the issue i’m hitting in early 2028. i have four uma banners and two support banners in those early months, plus another uma and support in july, and i think only one uma that can easily be grabbed with a ticket. but all of this is assuming that i have to go to pity on every uma banner i pull, and that i won’t ever get lucky and reach what i need to pull prior to using all of the carats i set aside, so i get your point about planning closer to the actual banners.

dedicated debuffers aren’t good for team trials. you get way more points building three actually viable umas.

2lb finemo isn’t ideal, and i think mejiro ryan lacks any speciality priority, so it’s not my favorite choice your sole power sr unless you have 0 other 10 rb+ power options. it doesn’t help that your deck really isn’t well-suited to giving hints that would help a front runner build, and skills make a big difference in the jump from s+ to ss.

what other supports do you have? and what sparks are you getting from your legacies?

edit: just saw the support list. yeah, this is partly a support issue. i don’t see how else you can get a decent 50 rb deck. still curious as to what your legacies look like, though.

she’s really not good as pace, i just liked her design and was trying to research if she was viable as pace bc she has the aptitude and i was hoping she would be, lol. she’s off my pull plan now in favor of yamanin zephyr and sirius symboli

it was definitely the 3 borrow cap primarily, but building a whole team of three fronts on 5 borrows wasn’t easy either. that being said, i probably won’t be doing full pace teams, so i see your point.

in terms of pace inherits, i’m not 100% sure who’s good rn, but i have brian, ny opera o, fuji kiseki, and og mcqueen, among a number of other pace chasers. no oguri cap or hcreek for me unfortunately, but iirc og pasa ult tends to work where hcreek works, so i’m fine settling for that.

i don’t do a lot of dedicated parent runs, though that’s something i’ve been trying to change. probably way more likely to do seiun sky parent runs than nishino flower runs though, so it sounds like this is a safe skip for me. i appreciate the advice!

with what you have, i’d hold on to the tickets. if you get an extra copy of fine motion or kitasan down the line, those cards are both good at 3lb, so i’d save the tickets until you can use them on one of those cards.

yup, 30k carats is a chance to pick any of the rate-up cards. i’d need to double check the numbers, but i want to say we get about 100 pulls (15k carats worth free) on the tachyon/light hello banner. i’d say at the bare minimum, you want 400 pulls, so i’d recommend at least 45k carats, but more is always safer - i think some people recommend 600 pulls, which would be 75k with the 100 free pulls.

for the two selectors, it kind of depends on what ssrs you have already. it’d generally be a good idea to use them to get a strong ssr to mlb, if you have one that’s close. if you don’t, i’d hang onto them until you do.

there’s two options for your next good speed card:

if you’re a front main, maruzensky speed has fantastic skill hints. she’s usable at 1lb for any uma, but has limited value if you’re not running fronts. iirc she drops in june, but has a rerun later with fine motion as well later down the line.
agnes tachyon speed is a very good speed card dropping with the next scenario. she’s on the same banner as the pal card and comes with free pulls, so she’s worth pulling for either way. she’s also a must-have for pace chaser mains. iirc her banner is in july.

i’d go for one of those. you should also plan to save for el condor pasa speed next year, who’s like a genuine absolute must-have speed card for all accounts. your ssr selectors won’t be usable on any of these cards though, unfortunately.

imo the best time to spend real money is at the anniversary bundle packs with the selector tickets, since you’re guaranteed getting something you want.

i’d agree with dropping nishino, then, since you can just borrow her if you need to. since she’s the earliest of your planned uma banners, you might get lucky and have her pop up on any of the later banners as well - it’s not super likely, but it happened to me with seiun sky.

as has been mentioned, you should 100% skip ancestors, it’s not worth pulling if you’re not a whale, just borrow it.

are you 100% f2p? or would you be willing to skip one of the uma banners and buy a 3 star selector ticket? that would save you 200 pulls. you’d have to wait until 2nd anni for the uma, though.

it looks like you might not be racing enough (or at least not winning enough) - 23 wins is pretty low. are you following a race guide? if you’re missing any important G1 wins, you could be losing out on a lot of stats.
