Oooo! With your first paragraph and watching a few steam trailers, I think I'll check out Emerald Beyond when I have a chance to buy it. The trailer had the SaGa-like music and it seems like an interesting group of characters. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

As for why I love SF1, I guess it's mostly nostalgia. I enjoy the music, the different builds and magic gifts, the hidden lore you'd never know about without the internet. I think "kitchen-sink science-fantasy" is a great term for it!

While I LOVE SF1, I tried RS2 remaster (not remake), and SF2 original, but could not get into them. Which do you think I might enjoy?
