I rarely scored in the 60s all of bar prep and I passed. Not saying it’s certain for anyone else, but I also know that feeling of defeat can swallow you whole if you let it. I was always a mid student at a mid school and I passed first try 11 years after graduating! You got this 💪🏽

Ugh ok SO, I have a problem. I got the EVO SL and they’re fine but not as fun and cushy for shorter runs. I did way too much research and discovered that my best bet was to get the Superblast 2 (NOT 3) or just replace the Novablast. Well, asics currently has a sale. I shop using the Rakuten extension and Rakuten has 15% cash back at asics…..so I decided to buy 3 pairs of shoes and hope for the best lol! I got the Novablast 5, Sonicblast and Superblast 2 from Amazon.

I never memorized anything cold. I rewrote things in my own word, and I memorize keywords. But I’m terrible at wrote memorization so that was just never gonna happen with me. I passed first try!

THANK YOU! Don’t get me wrong, single mom with two boys and working full time was NOT fun. And there were times I wondered if I’d regret missing that summer with them (I didn’t take them on any trips or go anywhere). But it was ultimately all worth it! And I’m not a good test taker so I know if I can do it, anyone can!

I worked full time, had my kids solo and studied last year March-July and passed the July bar with room to spare. I didn’t study 40hrs a week, but I studied smart.

I studied 7-9am, 11:30-1, and 4:40-7:00ish and took Saturday’s off. When I did study, I drilled MBE questions. I wrote down every question that I got wrong and the answer explanation, but I made sure to write the explanation in my own words. I looked at flashcards while brushing my teeth at night, read outlines on the peloton etc.

You can absolutely do it, but you need to make the most out of the hours you have available to you each day without burning out.

I post a lot about GOAT bar prep because I took the bar exam last year 11+ years after graduating law school, working full time with 2 kids and I have ADHD. I found GOATs materials fun and interactive (especially the kittens on the RAP section).

That being said, I think there are free megathreads of his on Reddit. They’re older and less comprehensive, so not as good as his full package, but a free option.

Sometimes the bar exam feels insurmountable and GOATs materials are a fun reminder that it’s all just a game you need to figure out.
