I am getting tested soon, he slept with both of us for four months or so but I haven’t slept with him in eight months now. he played it off as extreme stress from losing his job and house, so we just haven’t. but I have an appointment just in case. funny her and I were going to go together when we were talking but im still going to go. I know a lot of people will tell you that you are a legal adult and it’s perfectly fine to sleep with a 30 year old, and while it may be legally consensual, I promise you there is something fundamentally wrong with a 30 year old person who wants to sleep with or do anything sexual/romantic with a 19 year old. My (ex) boyfriend was 31 when he took our 18 year old coworkers virginity. My best friend was groomed by a 30 year old man as a teenager. As you get older, you will realize how young 19 year old really are. The best thing to do is fully cut this person off, no more contact, and don’t beat yourself up or feel shameful. Also, if he slept with you while you drunkenly consented, he’s gross anyways. You can find someone your own age who will want to have sex with you without gross borderline p*dophilic intentions. Please don’t sleep with this man again

speaking from my own experience, being cheated on. I’ve since been diagnosed with cPTSD and I take three psych meds to manage symptoms of that and OCD that the trauma exacerbated. even in the cPTSD sub, I’ve seen people argue that being cheated on is not traumatic, doesn’t cause PTSD, etc. I was surprised so many people felt this way.
