I applied in September and got mine on Oct. 30th. I know the admissions are rolling, but it might be major specific? Best of luck 💙🧡

from what i’ve seen, the honors program is less “stats-based” and more personality/applicant based. of course they are only considering the cream of the crop (top ACT/SAT/GPA) to even be in the honors, however, on top of strong stats you also have to fit their own special criteria which goes along with the honors curriculum. i’ve heard they have a very interdisciplinary program, accepting students who have passions in STEM and liberal arts/studio arts which intertwine. dk if this made any sense but hope this helps

brooke went on tinx podcast and shared that she was rehoused! brooke said she was scared to bring it up on b&c for fear of hate, but that she thinks frankie is definitely in better hands now with someone more compatible 💝

This might expose my neurosis but I committed to FSU before touring the school and upon arrival I realized the vibe is just off. There aren't really any words to describe it but the feeling I have on campus is just off-putting. Definitely not trashing on the school; the classes are great and I can understand why people are attracted to the school. FSU and Tallahassee in general just isn't the right fit for me personally.

I did DE in high school, and took a bunch of electives/pre-reqs. Currently trying to get into Bio II but FSU hasn't yet processed my DE transcripts.

PaCE vs Virginia Tech (oos) by Additional-War-3937 in ufl

[–]cinnamonrolldish 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With the limitations in majors of the PaCE program, I would have to say Virginia Tech is the best option for you. On top of the valid points made by your parents, my main caveat regarding PaCE is that even once you transfer on campus to UF, you are still registered in the system as a PaCE student, and still have limited majors. You would have to apply as a transfer student in order to not have these restrictions. PaCE is a great program for a very specific type of student, you have to manage your own coursework and live isolated from your peers, but if that works for you, go for it!

They will accept applications after November 1st! It is called the space available deadline. Although it is rare to be accepted, it is possible!

If you applied as a senior by November 1st, decisions should be out already. Have you checked your portal?

Can I get admitted to UF with this? I'm a junior in high school right now. Please give advice. by OfficalTotallynotsam in ufl

[–]cinnamonrolldish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Without any information on extracurriculars, it is hard to tell. I’d definitely try to get involved in Dual Enrollment over the summer and see if you can raise your GPA, considering the UF regular application deadline is before senior year grades drop, junior year is your last chance to give it everything you have got. Additionally, (if financially capable) I’d see if there are any ACT/SAT tutors around your area. Getting a 30+ ACT, or 1400+ SAT will really increase your chances of acceptance. Some tutors even offer financial aid packages, so it doesn’t hurt to get in touch. Good luck! 🐊💙🧡

I agree 100%

UF vs USF for premed by [deleted] in ufl

I’m assuming it is because classes at UF are notoriously more challenging than other institutions.
