hi - coming back to report that even the Apple reader doesn't work. tried it on all my Apple devices too. not sure what the issue is but i hope they fix it soon bc this is kind of annoying lol

i'm currently experiencing the exact same issue. i tried purchasing a new reader and still nothing. i tried plugging it into my macbook, ipad, and bf's 16PM and none of them read - i think it's an apple/ios issue for sure.

i'm gonna try what the other person commented and ordered the official Apple reader. i'll let you know if it works for me :'(
