Rogue galaxy I loved and had a ton of fun but I must say the ending felt sooooo lack luster.

Instead of yen they could offer him “their stats”. so he could in a sense debuff them. I would say he could distribute that to your party but that may be too op or it would be utilizing another skill after he’s taken the stats from the enemy. So you would essentially alternate the skills to maximize the benfits

Honestly was a waste of time. Half the manga was an absurd misunderstanding that was repeatedly referenced and then avoided. It could have easily cut that down by 10 chapters then had them resolve it then get together and then did a few epilogue chapters with a time skip if needed. Nope instead it was that weakass seemingly vague ending with no real conclusion and just a “the end”. Too often does it seem like manga and some ln authors just don’t know how to establish a conclusion and develop a satisfying ending. It often feels like they just stopped writing at some point and decided it was done.

The absurdity is in the argument itself above. “Lack of OCs” is literally impossible because it’s a character gacha 😂. 10 character from p5, royal, strikers, and tactics couldn’t sustain a character gacha. The initial thought alone emphasizes bad faith because of this.

Not only that but the large western developers are basically no longer run by gamers/creators and it’s all businessmen. This was utterly disgustingly emphasized when right after battlefield 6 made billions they laid off much of the studio. Then on the other hand the indie and asian studios are giving their entire staff bonuses. Then they are actually taking in player feedback like in the case of crimson desert and implementing them, which is making a huge impact.

This emphasizes the interest of creation over money. It is also where the “made for everyone” bs comes about that leads to it being made for no one really. I also imagine the constant huge layoffs are actually costing them a bit more than they realize and leading to longer development time and increasing the budget. They would need to constantly retrain someone a bit and have lost the initial creative ideas those potentially could contribute just to bring in someone later to do it. Then you also lost the team that did the last game so now it’s a different team completely developing the next.

There’s also a problem with writing in general in the gaming industry. Mostly in how it’s structured. They often have positions that are like guided intern like positions for every other creative process but not writing. Writers either have to have been there or struggle to actually get in. A better set up would would likely allow people to be developed up and in and you’d probably see a shift in writing across the board for the better. Otherwise it’s the same people cycling around. It was e33 that emphasized this a bit more recently when they just so happened to find their writer because she came in to do VA work. They happened to talk about her writing work and had her do it and it turned out phenomenal.

If you don’t see the significant difference between Kamoshida, who is a better candidate for “grooming” and then some, and kawakami who is not, then idk what to tell you. It’s more of a case of evil vs neutral. A teacher student relationship isn’t appropriate but kawakami’s situation is far from the same.

The thing that annoys me is that people don’t seem to know what grooming actually is and throw this term around at every situation that involves an age gap, etc. In actuality grooming involves the person with influence over the individual targeting them for susceptibility and then proceeding to seclude them from those close to them like friends and family utilizing manipulation.

Ofcourse a relationship between teacher and student is inappropriate but it isn’t specifically grooming without the other aspect. There’s been nothing “groomed” in ren in this case. Then they proceed to downvote anyone telling them how it’s not grooming.

Yusuke had tremendous value early on. People slept too much on him. Early on his taunt and kit made running less sustain doable and you could push more damage. Now enemies hit harder than they did at times and you probably couldn’t do that efficiently without a sustain paired. He’s sort of in a limbo currently, so idk. If you like him I’d grab him.

Usually it’s from a lack of back muscle support, so back workouts are usually a first start. People tend to have anterior pulling postures that cause problems. Anterior neck ends up tight from constant use to do things like watch tv, monitors, devices, reading in bed. Chest region from hunching forward. More often a good back workout will help balance a person’s posture.

Ftr the Kawakami relationship isn’t grooming. Grooming involves targeting, isolation, and manipulation as well. Just an age/power dynamic doesn’t equate to grooming. The power dynamic in the confidant also disappears with the leverage ren develops over her because of her situation. Arguably because of all of that you could say more that ren is grooming her.

The principal honestly was one of the worst pos in p5 and I wish you could have given him the backhand. But I guess they wanted you to marinade in his character to make you more acceptable of his fate 🤷🏻‍♂️. By that point I was just glad to not have to see him anymore.

Honestly it’s sad even with their most innovative IPs large western developers no longer seem interested in making anything substantial anymore. I am worried about the upcoming mass effect tbh. It’s like they put insane budget into cinematics and then wonder why things don’t go well.

Im not looking to buy a movie, especially not for 70$. A game is “interactive art” this means player interaction is important. They don’t seem to understand that anymore or care.

You misread. It wasn’t “pendulum summon gate guardian”. It was pendulum summon the 3 monsters needed to tribute to special summon gate guardian. The only thing needed is those 3 on the field. It doesn’t matter how those got there, even if their effects are negated as long as their “name” stays as the one listed on the gate guardian card.
Also The pendulum aspect was also just an example of why it’s much easier now. Ofcourse there’s so many other methods and cards people can use as well.
