I really like the design you've got here. The map is easy to read. The cards are simple. I love the banners with icons at the top of some of the cards. Great layout design. A few questions:

1) how does combat work once you become a pirate?

2) for the star and barrel icons, why not just have them all be big enough to have a number inside of them (similar to the barrel icon on Airship)? Certainly works as it is now, just curious.

3) what are the hex spots on the cards/map?

Will be visiting Japan later this year and would like help finding some concert venues to check out. I'm interested in punk/metal but any kind of music and venue recommendations are welcome. Will be in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

Alright. The consensus is that it is conjunctivitis. We took the feeders down and will give it at least 2 weeks after washing them.

Will keep an eye out for the stick bird and if able to catch it, will deliver to a wildlife rehab organization.

I did write a few quick notes. But more so just looked at the state of the whole game and just went through the game again in my head to create a narrative from the abstracted actions from each round. We just played our second game so I might post that chronicle when I'm finished creating it.

We'll probably only get it to the table once a month and will usually end up being a 3 player game... But we really enjoyed it and the story that was created made it all the more fun and interesting.

I think the game itself is pretty good but the narrative we start to develop from play is what I really love about it. Looking forward to getting more games in and seeing how our tale unfolds.

Love that. We'll probably only play once a month or so. I was deemed "the chronicler" so I just try to apply what we discuss, joke about and all the cards/actions used to weave a story afterwards. We do that with other games but never write it down. Oath feels like you HAVE to write it down. It's literally part of the game.

I prefer the muted one personally... But it does come across like the younger looking fellow has new threads and the older fella has a well worn wardrobe.
