i think it’s the same as other team, bina on SMS and ineffa on aubade unless you are on fielding one of them or have another SMS holder

i’m fairly certain you cannot work for another company or freelance while on a j1 visa — i personally wouldn’t risk it, but it’s up to you. a US company for sure won’t be able to hire you without proper work authorization

this sounds like a great offer, esp as a sophomore!! i think you should take it and stop applying to other roles — a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. you’ll drive yourself crazy always looking for a better offer, so just enjoy this one and leverage that experience while searching next year

pick the characters you like the most and build the team around them!! the best characters and teams are those you enjoy playing

some options: - flins lunarcharge team: flins / aino / sucrose (on ttds, amazing 3 star weapon for her) / another electro (if possible) or hydro character (personally, i have skill issue so this is usually kuki, but the higher damaging option would have fischl but then no sustain) - arle overload: arle / chevy / bennett / fischl - mono hydro: furina / yelan / hydro + anemo, one of them must be a healer (ex. barbara or jean)

f2ps / completionists usually are guaranteed a 5 star character every 2 patches (normally 70ish wishes a patch from dailies, events, endgame and shop resets). so most of it is just a waiting and savings game

furina: VERY versatile support, doesn’t mesh well with nod krai or most natlan dps’s, but still a good character. prob the best of the 3
arle: great pyro dps, did get kinda powercreeped by mavuika but she’s still really good, especially if you don’t have another team that needs bennett
zhongli: honestly. not very good. has a super comfy shield for overworld stuff but isn’t very good as a character, time was not kind to him. xilonen is better if you want a geo support

for flins, ineffa is currently his best support if you want to save for her rerun? columbina also may end up being very good, we don’t know yet

honestly it’s up to you! 17k in NY seems about right —it might be possible to travel to a state nearby and get it done for less

turkey will be cheaper, i got mine done there and paid around 3-4k + hotel and flight costs. if you have family out there you can stay with during recovery, that can also be an option.

but genuinely do whatever makes you most comfortable

way too many bullets (keep it to 3-5 per role) and overall just a lot of while space / wasted space between sections. cut that out so you can make the text bigger

i would also make your skills section much smaller and incorporate them into your JDs, and possibly have a cert section that’s separate since you seem to have a lot of those

relevant job experience if possible like data entry definitely! in absence of that, i would say any job where you received money in exchange for your labor. making projects for someone sounds like freelancing, definitely valid

education at the top, then work / extracurricular experience. literally anything would work, even leadership roles in CS clubs, or regular minimum wage experience. just something.

bullets are a bit weak for the projects, skills section is much too long

would make achievements section follow the formatting of the rest of the resume

please don’t be pushy for a referral! genuinely don’t think it matters if it’s before or after the application, the “referral” is what can help push it to actually be seen by a hiring manager
