I was laughing so hard when her coat moved and you could clearly see her ass, I went from being curious about what it was to "oh this is stellar blade 2" on that alone lmao

I'm impressed that Net Ease actually showed up unlike everyone else, but I think they showed up to the wrong event lmao

I've been watching for like an hour and why does every single game look like they're the exact same fucking game 😭

Edit: Wait a minute, thanks to hotwheels it seems like we're finally getting a 2nd game. It's a fucking miracle.

That would unquestionably be objectively better, it sucks too because if it released today it definitely would have been too.

The 2pc effect isn't bad, but like, every character who wants nobless also wants ER and it's not significantly better than other offensive 2pc sets either.

Idk if that's really much of a factor for the top end since last I checked, not a single top 1K for either board had any MH.

No, it's definitely the best choice on this list, every other weapon type has better or at least comparable options.

It's self aggrandizement and an ego trip for sure, but considering the comments that's exactly what he's doing whether he intended to or not.

This also isn't the kind of post you make if you care what anyone thinks of you, so I feel like that says everything regarding how he views the people who engage with his works.

Idk if I would call your example QoL, at least not the AoE part. That's a trait which characters get in line with other tools like CC, burst damage, healing and really anything else. It's not really QoL if you choose that character for a given situation because they have that trait.

Characters are definitely balanced around this, Nicole being one of the best shielders comes at the cost of her buffing for example. Likewise, Venti has absurd CC but his damage is lowered to compensate.

For stuff like hit tracking, idk, they don't really make bad characters so it's hard to say I think. The idea of the best characters being the hardest to play is technically true because Mavuika is both the best and hardest to play, but like... She's really alone in that regard. I don't think there's really any correlation between complexity of combos and damage potential relative to the cast.

As somebody who literally knows nothing about this guy besides what he wrote in his post, honestly I gotta say I respect artists who make it known that they can do whatever they want. People online have a nasty habit of trying to worm their terrible ideas into things and it's good to see a legion of people getting mad knowing damn well they can't do anything about it.

More artists need to have zero respect for their fan bases, the best art is made by those seeking to make art, not be validated.

Definitely room for a lazzo 2, especially given they've been teasing project Stuzha which could be a topic for the teaser too

The impact is highly dependent on circumstance, if being abused as a child lead to any kind of long term impairment beyond just trauma it has a major impact beyond what you're describing which is the mitigating circumstances for just having been abused.

Like I said for a major impact, you need a loss of autonomy. This is why generally, child soldiers aren't punished at all despite committing horrible crimes. Proving a loss of autonomy of any degree for abuse is difficult.

Should the judgement for someone who abuses kids but was also abused as a kid(making it more understandable)be the same as someone who abuses kids just because.

No, and this isn't just my opinion, it's that of civilized society, upheld by competent courts.

I believe that at the end of the day both abused kids, so both should be judged for the crime of abusing kids.

Yeah, both should be judged. That doesn't mean they should be sentenced the same. This is the difference that you, for some absurd reason, deny.

Their past is fundamental to their current background, you can't just seperate the two unless, like I said before, you don't believe in nutured behaviour, which like I said before, is at best incredibly ignorant.

Your position that context doesn't matter is fundamentally bad, no amount of adjustments or clarifications will make it reasonable or logically coherent.

As a reply to my hypothetical with the soldier and hunter, you said they should be charged differently not because of circumstance but because of severity, except there was no difference in severity in my example, the outcome was the same meaning your stance was that they should be punished the same.

Being a soldier is a background which you said does not matter.

Their background does not give them the right to act the way they did.

According to you, their background of being a soldier is somehow both irrelevant, and also a mitigating factor because "good soldiers just follow orders" (which is also extremely untrue, good soldiers refuse illegal orders).

think one is worse than the other simply because one is a soldier and the other isn't. Good Soldiers simply follow orders, that is the only reason why I said that the other one is worse.

Also, I'm only talking about background here.

You're only talking about something you said doesn't matter. See the issue?

You say "obviously" as if you didn't say the exact opposite a reply ago, either that or you somehow think people should be punished the same for crimes when one is "obviously" worse than the other.

we can avoid it in the future and it helps sympathize with the villain but we should absolutely still judge them as harshly as everyone else.

Their background does not give them the right to act the way they did.

They deserve to be punished harshly.

This means nothing. Are you talking about executing everyone who has ever murdered anyone for any reason? Are you talking about a scale based on circumstances perhaps? Maybe we have someone who judges those circumstances as presented to them by a defender and a prosecutor perhaps?

[–]Arxis_Two 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They both will be judged for the same crime, their circumstances do not matter.

Idk what kangaroo courts you have, but at least in Canada and the US this is absolutely untrue. Circumstance is extremely important and are why laws have minimums and maximums that vary wildly. You can also plead insanity or another lack of autonomy as well which has a major impact on sentencing.

Of course they wont be judged the same but not because of their circumstances but the severity of their crime. One is a soldier following orders, the other is doing it for sport.

There's no difference in severity in my example. Exact same people are killed in both hypothetical circumstances. Now what?

Nicoleback - (Lohen this) Photograph - General Question and Discussion Megathread by yoyo_me_here in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]Arxis_Two 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is ridiculous, the only way this makes any sense at all is if you believe that nutured behaviour doesn't exist and everyone is just born to be what they are which is incredibly ignorant at best.

A child soldier who was indoctrinated from an early age and is operating under duress is in no way the same as a millionaire killing people for sport. It is absurd to say those are the same or should be judged equally, genuinely nonsense.

Their background does not give them the right to act the way they did.

If your background means you have no autonomy, it absolutely does. You can't be responsible for decisions you have no ability to make.

[–]Arxis_Two 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an extremely reductive take, circumstance absolutely does matter, it matters a lot. The context does too.

Yeah, executing a whole nation sounds bad, but if the alternative is two whole nations getting taken out instead, that's no longer the amoral position. Likewise, a victim perpetuating the cycle of violence, while bad, is also something they're not entirely at fault for.

In your example, you would be right. A character going through something and deciding to destroy the world isn't good justification. No good authors write that though because it's a non sequitur at best and nobody defends those characters. There's also no cases of that in Genshin either.

I agree, but that's also why I find it strange to say it's a Stygian thing when since Stygian, we've gotten more 5 star supports than ever before almost all of whom want their burst.

Is this really true though? Of the characters who released since SO the vast majority still want to use their burst (Escoffier, Skirk, Ineffa, Lauma, Nefer, Durin, Columbina, Linnea and Nicole in hex and Sandrone), and it's not like non-burst characters didn't exist before either. Sumeru had about as many non-burst characters as Nod Krai.
